In short
Yukhwang is a newly opened yukhoe (raw beef tartare) and gomtang (beef bone soup) restaurant in Gasan Digital Complex, Seoul, a 6-minute walk from Exit 8 of Gasan Digital Complex Station. On a Thursday evening visit after work, the writer ordered yukhoe for 27,000 won, yukhoe bibimbap for 13,000 won and gomtang for 13,000 won, while the mungtigi (thick-cut raw beef) was already sold out. The day my friend who works near Gasan Digital Complex and I decided to grab dinner after work! While looking around for where to eat, the newly opened 'Yukhwang' caught my eye. Looking at the menu, it was full of things I love — yukhoe (raw beef tartare), yukhoe bibimbap, gomtang (beef bone soup) — so I booked it right away and went to check it out.
I visited in the evening, but looking at the menu lineup, it seemed like a solid option for lunch too, so I thought it'd be great for office workers in Gasan Digital Complex looking for a lunch spot. Let me introduce the newly opened Gasan Digital Complex restaurant Yukhwang, dish by dish, based on what I actually ate!

How to walk to Yukhwang from Gasan Digital Complex Station

It took about 6 minutes on foot after coming out of Exit 8 of Gasan Digital Complex Station. It's not far from the station, so it's an easy trip after work. Since it's right on the outside of the 1st floor of Halla One&One Tower, the store isn't hard to spot at all.
Given how many companies are nearby, it seems like a spot office workers would flock to on weekday lunch breaks! It has decent accessibility for anyone looking for a Gasan Digital Complex lunch option.
If you're driving, you can use the underground parking at Halla One&One Tower for free — 30 minutes at lunch, 1 hour in the evening. (11:00–17:00 gets 30 min, 17:00–21:00 gets 1 hour)
Is there a wait at Yukhwang? Review event details

Yukhwang is running a Naver receipt review event.
- Write a Naver receipt review and get a half plate of boiled pork (suyuk)
- Follow on Instagram + post a story tag review and get 2 pieces of bite-sized yukhoe
You can take part in both events, once per table for each.
Inside Yukhwang: atmosphere and seating

Maybe because it's newly opened, the moment I walked in it felt very clean overall. The interior uses dark wood tones, giving off a calm and slightly upscale vibe.
The ceiling is fairly high, so even though the store isn't huge, it never felt cramped — it had a real sense of openness. The tables were a reasonable setup of 8 tables for 4 and 1 table for 2.

There are even aprons available on one side of the store!
Yukhwang menu and prices, and why the mungtigi was sold out

With mungtigi (fresh raw beef), yukhoe, and suyuk (boiled pork) on the lineup, this seems like a great spot for dinner-plus-drinks too. Mungtigi can be ordered Tuesday through Friday after 16:00. We visited on a Thursday and tried to order it too, but unfortunately it was already sold out that day ㅜㅜ (I really wanted to try the mungtigi too, so disappointing...)

- Yukhoe: ₩27,000
- Yukhoe bibimbap: ₩13,000
- Gomtang: ₩13,000

The basic side dishes were seasoned octopus, seasoned lettuce, and seokbakji (radish kimchi). The sides paired well with both the yukhoe and the gomtang, so they were nice to nibble on throughout the meal.
What Yukhwang's yukhoe (27,000 won) tastes like

The yukhoe itself was fresh and had solid quality. The texture was nice and it had no gamey smell at all, so anyone who loves yukhoe would probably be satisfied. The seasoning was a bit on the sharp side, and wrapping it with the seaweed, pear, and minari (water dropwort) that came alongside made for a much tastier combo than eating the yukhoe alone!

This is the bite-sized yukhoe wrap you can get through the Instagram event! The one the staff made for us was definitely way tastier than the one I wrapped myself haha.
The crispy texture of the seaweed, the sweet, cool taste of the pear, the aroma of minari, plus the sesame oil sauce — put together, it was way more delicious than I expected. It seemed like a great combo to pair with a light drink in the evening too.
Soy-based yukhoe bibimbap, 13,000 won with a mini gomtang

The yukhoe bibimbap was really generous with ingredients. Lettuce, minari, onion, and plenty of yukhoe were all piled on, making it look really appetizing — and best of all, the seasoning was soy-based, which I loved. If the seasoning is a strong gochujang (red pepper paste) style, it can overpower the distinct flavor of the yukhoe, but the soy base let the yukhoe's flavor shine while keeping everything overall clean.
Mixing the rice, vegetables, and yukhoe together and taking a bite, you get crunchy vegetables and soft yukhoe together in one mouthful — genuinely delicious. And when you order the yukhoe bibimbap, a mini gomtang comes along with it too. Eating the bibimbap and taking a spoonful of the warm gomtang broth in between was a great combo.
If you're looking for a filling meal for lunch in Gasan Digital Complex, I'd recommend the yukhoe bibimbap. At ₩13,000, it seems like a great value lunch option for office workers too.
Yukhwang's gomtang, 13,000 won with the rice already in the bowl

The gomtang broth had a mild, clean style. It wasn't sharp or heavy, so it tasted like something you could easily eat for lunch without any burden. There was also quite a lot of meat and radish in it, and the rice came already mixed into the soup from the start.
With the warm broth and plenty of hearty meat, it felt like enough for a full meal. On a day when you're craving a clean, filling soup dish, the gomtang would be a solid choice too.

Final verdict on dinner at Yukhwang
I checked out the newly opened Yukhwang this time. Overall, the store was clean and had a calm atmosphere, so it seemed like a decent place to check out for anyone looking for a new restaurant in Gasan Digital Complex. Sadly the mungtigi was sold out so I couldn't try it, but I'd love to come back and try that next time haha.
The prices are also easy on the wallet — the yukhoe bibimbap and gomtang are both ₩13,000, making it a comfortable choice when looking for a Gasan Digital Complex office worker lunch. If you're searching for a new Gasan Digital Complex lunch option or a good soy-based yukhoe bibimbap spot, Yukhwang is worth a visit!
