Aewol café in Jeju with 2nd-floor sea-view windows: Aewolbon Café

There are seriously so many ocean-view cafés in Aewol, Jeju. During my time living in Jeju I checked out quite a few of them haha. Today I'm introducing Aewolbon Café, located on Aewol Coastal Road.

The ocean view was no joke. Especially once you head up to the second floor, the Aewol sea just opens right up through the windows — such a healing space^^ Sharing this one for anyone looking for café recommendations in Aewol.^^

Where is Aewolbon Café and where do you park?

Aewolbon Café is located at 179 Aewol-haean-ro, Aewol-eup, Jeju-si, Jeju-do. It sits right along Aewol Coastal Road, so it's a great stop if you're out for a drive.

We visited by car too, and there was a parking space right in front of the store, so we parked immediately.

When you go around to cafés in Aewol, parking can be a real headache at a lot of places, but here we could park right in front and walked in without any hassle.

Aewolbon Café opening hours

Aewolbon Café is open daily from 09:00 to 19:00, with last order at 18:30. It opens from 9am, so it's a good stop for anyone getting an early start in Aewol. It's not a café open late into the evening, so keep the hours in mind when planning your visit.^^

Sea views from the first-floor windows

Aewolbon Café is made up of a first floor and a second floor.

Walking inside, the Jeju sea is right there beyond the floor-to-ceiling windows. I've been to a lot of ocean-view cafés in Jeju, but when the sea is this close, it just feels different haha. Being able to sit comfortably indoors, sip coffee, and watch the Aewol sea was the best part. But that's not even the end of it!!!!

Try heading up to the second floor.

Personally, I found the second floor at Aewolbon Café was really the highlight.

As soon as you go up, a wide-open sea view greets you — the ocean view is truly amazing haha.

With the Aewol sea stretching out through the windows, you really get that feeling of being in Jeju.

On a nice day, you can see the blue sky together with the sea, which would make for great photos too.

At cafés like this I just end up staring out the window the whole time... lol

It's a great space to set down a cup of coffee and take a little break while watching the sea haha.

There's a photo zone too, so make sure to snap some pictures before you leave^^

From coffee to Jeju matcha latte to ade, they had a nice variety of menu items ready.

Since it's an ocean-view café in Jeju, I felt fine about the prices considering you get to enjoy this level of sea view along with your drink.^^

A stop on the Aewol coastal road drive

Since it's right on Aewol Coastal Road, it seems like a good route to combine seeing the Aewol sea with a coastal drive and a stop here.

Especially if you visit on a nice-weather day, I absolutely recommend the second floor haha!

The Jeju sea visible through the windows felt so much more refreshing in person than in any photo.

Overall, every drink was tasty haha. We ordered a bunch of different menu items and there wasn't a single disappointing one — we enjoyed them all.

The café latte was smooth and nutty, a solid dependable choice, and the vanilla latte was sweet, nice to sip while looking out at the sea.

The Jeju matcha latte had a good clear matcha flavor too, and the handmade grapefruit ade was refreshing, nice to have in between coffees.^^

It was also great for a group, since everyone could order something different. The drinks were all delicious overall, so I was super satisfied! Sipping slowly while looking out at the Aewol sea made everything taste even better, I think.^^ Jeju has so many pretty cafés, but if you want to really take in the sea properly in Aewol, I highly recommend this one — anyone looking for a café in Aewol should definitely stop by~~^^
