What kind of café is Aewolbon Café?

Aewolbon Café is a two-story ocean-view café on Aewolhaean-ro in Aewol-eup, Jeju City. I'd already walked a lot around Jeju and was looking for a café to rest at. Since I care a lot about view and atmosphere, I went to Aewolbon Café, a Jeju Aewol café where you can spend leisurely time gazing at the sea. There are so many cafés around Aewol that it was hard to choose, but even though this one isn't far from the busy Aewol café street, it felt quiet enough to properly relax, which I loved.

Is parking easy at Aewolbon Café?

I parked comfortably in the large lot, and the moment I saw the café I thought it was so pretty. 🚗 If there's no space in front of the café, you can also park in the resort lot next door.

The building has two floors, and you can see the ocean view from every level.

The wind was blowing really hard that day, so I got to see the sea alive with crashing waves. A totally different feeling from Jeju's usual calm sea.

There were also decorations made from all sorts of shells and conch shells, which gave off a real Jeju seaside feel.

Aewolbon Café also had a wide range of drinks. Coffee, tea, lattes, ades, and smoothies are all available, plus dessert items like scones, cake, and sandwiches, so it's easy to grab a light snack too. The coffee can also be switched to decaf.

The signature menu items are the Udo peanut latte, house-made grapefruit syrup ade, chocolate chip scone, carrot cake, and the Bon ham cheese sandwich. If you're not sure what to order, go for the signature menu.

Window seat or sofa seat: where to sit at Aewolbon Café?

At Aewolbon Café, the sea spreads out like a panorama beyond the floor-to-ceiling windows, so you can take in the whole Jeju sea at once. It felt satisfying even without doing anything else. I imagine it would feel just as good on a cloudy day.

There are also sofa seats facing the sea, which made it feel even more relaxed.

It was a great stop for resting mid-trip. I needed a moment to just sit and do nothing.

Even the seats away from the window were pretty and comfortable. A vibe that makes you want to stay a while.

How do the 6,000-won Americano and 6,500-won latte taste?

They brought the order right to our table. A café with great atmosphere and great service and friendliness to match.

It was my first coffee of the day, so I got my usual Americano and latte, and I liked the rich, heavy taste. The portions were generous too, which I liked.

The second-floor terrace and first-floor photo spot

The wind was so strong I couldn't sit on the second-floor terrace, but I stepped out for a moment to enjoy the ocean view. Looking at the sea directly from the terrace definitely felt different — the Jeju sea looked much more vivid.

Such a refreshing view! There's also a palm tree in the yard, and seeing it together with the sea gave off a really strong Jeju feel.

The view looking down at the first-floor yard was also lovely. There are various photo zones on the first floor, so it's great for spending time taking pictures. You'll end up losing track of time, haha.

Can you bring a dog to Aewolbon Café?

Aewolbon Café is dog-friendly, and there are plenty of outdoor tables so there's no need to fight for a spot. There's also a wide, grassy front yard where dogs can roam freely, which I think dogs would love.

I visited as the last stop of the trip and had a cup of coffee while soaking in the sea view to my heart's content. When you're traveling, running around sightseeing wears you out fast, so if you're looking for a Jeju Aewol café to rest at, I recommend Aewolbon Café.
