Aewolbon Café is a Jeju café in Aewol where you can see both the Aewol sea and Hallasan at once. After lunch on the Aewol coastal road, I got a craving for good coffee and dessert, so I headed over.
Where is Aewolbon Café, and where do you park?
Aewolbon Café is a red two-story house café at 179 Aewolhaean-ro, Aewol-eup, Jeju-si. With tall palm trees and the Aewol sea as its backdrop, this pretty red two-story building really stands out.
There's a photo zone right in front of the café, plus terrace seating where you can sip coffee at leisure while looking out at the sea.
Since the Jeju sea right out front is famous for being gorgeous, you can see the water from basically any seat.
There's a parking lot right in front of Aewolbon Café, and you can also use the resort's parking lot next door, so parking is convenient.
Aewolbon Café menu and prices
The Americano at Aewolbon Café is ₩6,000 and the café latte is ₩6,500. They also have a Udo peanut latte, packed with the nutty aroma of Jeju's Udo peanuts.
For dessert, carrot cake and choco chip scone are the signature menu items.
I'd just had lunch so I was too full to eat, but browsing Aewolbon Café's Instagram afterward, the bonham cheese sandwich and the carrot rapé sandwich loaded with Jeju carrots looked so good. Since it opens early at 9am, staying nearby in Aewol and grabbing a simple brunch here sounds great too.

Second-floor terrace seats and the dog-friendly rules
Heading up to the second floor of Aewolbon Café, the ocean view got even better. The weather was nice so I grabbed a terrace seat.
Aewolbon Café is a dog-friendly Jeju café in Aewol. (Only vaccinated dogs are allowed, and a stroller or carrier bag is required inside the café.) The resort lawn you can see from the second floor is run by the same building owner, so I heard it's fine to take a look around. If you come with your dog friends, having coffee and then taking a short walk on the lawn sounds lovely.
The owner personally carried our drinks and desserts all the way up to the second floor.
With the stunning Jeju sea as a backdrop, the color of the grapefruit ade looked really pretty.
The sea looks like it's right in front of you, and it wasn't too crowded, making it a nice, quiet atmosphere to relax in.
They even serve drinks on coasters with a camellia design, very Jeju.
What the handmade grapefruit ade (9,000 won) tastes like
The handmade grapefruit ade is ₩9,000 and it's Aewolbon Café's signature menu item. Just looking at the review photos made it seem so delicious, so I ordered it. It's a refined ade that's not too sweet, with a nice, refreshing taste. The grapefruit preserve pieces are so plump and juicy that I ended up eating every last bit of grapefruit in the glass. If you're not sure what to order, I highly recommend the handmade grapefruit ade.
Choco chip scone, 5,000 won
The choco chip scone is ₩5,000. It's a handmade scone studded with chocolate chips, crispy outside and moist inside — a dessert that's easy to enjoy without feeling too heavy.
The buttery aroma is great and the inside is moist, so it's delicious without leaving you feeling dry-mouthed.
Indoor seating for groups and big families
It's the perfect season for enjoying the outdoor terrace seats at Aewolbon Café — go savor a bit of autumn ease!
There's plenty of seating inside the café too, so groups and large families can relax comfortably.
The space has high ceilings, giving it an open, airy feel with no sense of being cramped.
The sea view is great, and the sofa seating is comfortable, so you can settle in and unwind at your own pace.
On top of the gorgeous Aewol ocean view, on clear days you can even see Hallasan — it's a real view spot. If you're looking for a Jeju café in Aewol that's dog-friendly even indoors, I recommend Aewolbon Café :)
