Sometimes during a Jeju trip you want to step away from the noisy tourist spots and enjoy a quiet, cup of coffee in a cozy local café. That's exactly why I went to Gluttony^^

Parking and exterior: free public lot in front of Gluttony Coffee

One of the best things about Gluttony Coffee is the spacious free public parking lot right in front of the shop, so you can visit without any parking stress.👍 Cafés in busier downtown areas usually mean a headache finding a spot.

Let me start with the look of the place. First-timers might be a little thrown off — the exterior is modern and done in muted, monochrome tones, giving off the vibe of a cozy regulars-only spot that only the people in the know find.

The first thing that caught my eye at the entrance was this cute standing sign. 'Gluttony' is written in retro red lettering on a white background, and it really pops against the clean exterior wall.

That stylish touch against the modern exterior makes it a perfect photo spot even before you step inside^^

Inside Gluttony Coffee: exposed concrete and floor-to-ceiling window seats

Inside, Gluttony Coffee is a hip, modern space with exposed concrete and a long steel counter bar as its centerpiece. The calm monochrome tones combined with sleek lighting give off that unmistakable sense of a stylish local café.

The real highlight is the huge floor-to-ceiling window along one wall. It frames the view outside like a giant picture frame — just sitting there looking out at the clear Jeju sky and exotic scenery felt genuinely healing. Thanks to the atmospheric interior, you can get a great shot from pretty much anywhere in here.

The main hall has generous spacing between tables, so it never feels cramped — just an airy, relaxed atmosphere. The black-and-white chairs and clean round tables add a mid-century modern touch.

On one wall, a modern three-tier steel shelf displays objects that feel curated down to the last detail — art books and posters from names like LOEWE, TOM FORD, and Urbanlike, alongside sculptural ceramics, diffusers, and tiny potted cacti. You can really feel the owner's distinct taste in interiors^^

Self-serve bar, lap blankets and a multi-charger

Even the self-serve bar is too well put-together to just walk past. On top sit water, cups, and a poster with Kinfolk-style charm, while rolled-up knee blankets are tucked underneath for anyone who gets cold from the AC or chilly weather. Little details like this made me feel how much thought the owner puts into guests, and it made the whole visit feel that much better.😆

Even the smallest corners here become photo spots thanks to the owner's eye^^ A large palm plant softens the raw texture of the exposed concrete and adds a fresh, lively feel to the whole space. Next to the plant, a clear shelf holds stylish art posters, unique glass objects, and even a multi-charger for guests.

On the wall hangs a mirror with a plump, cute frame — perfect for a café check-in photo or a mirror selfie. Next to it, a yellow-topped modular table, a potted plant, a stylish pendant light, and a collaboration frame all come together, turning the whole wall into its own little art gallery.

What we ordered at Gluttony Coffee: Gluttony latte, watermelon ade, fig cream cake

At Gluttony Coffee I ordered the signature Gluttony latte, watermelon tangmobbang (a Korean-style watermelon ade), the seasonal fig cream cake, a white macadamia cookie, and a cream cheese red velvet. The dishes I'd been waiting for finally arrived, one after another, filling up the table!

A rich espresso and creamy milk layer in the Gluttony latte, the cool red of the watermelon ade, the fig cream cake studded with fresh figs, golden-baked cookies, and bakery items all together — the visual alone was perfect. Between the clean cups and plates and the harmonious colors of each item, it was impossible not to photograph everything before eating.👍

Watermelon ade (tangmobbang)

This cool, freshly blended watermelon ade looked refreshing enough to chase away the heat on its own. One sip of the sweet, cold drink and the refreshing rush was exactly right.

The signature Gluttony latte

The house's signature Gluttony latte is a must-order. True to its name, it strikes a fantastic balance between blended milk and rich beans, with a standout nuttiness.

Cream cheese red velvet and white macadamia cookie

You can't skip a bakery item to go with something sweet. The cream cheese red velvet I tried for the first time this visit was crisp on the outside and moist inside — a great match with coffee.

The white macadamia cookie's thick, eye-catching shape is classic levain-cookie style — crisp outside, dense and moist inside. The cross-section showed it packed with crunchy macadamias and sweet white chocolate chips. One bite delivers a rich, nutty flavor that fills your mouth, a perfect match with a strong coffee.

Seasonal fig cream cake

Of everything I ordered, the seasonal fig cream cake was easily what I was most looking forward to. Fresh figs and sweet cream are layered between soft sponge layers, and a large, vivid piece of fresh fig sits on top as the finishing touch.

Scooping up a big forkful, the cream wasn't overly sweet — it was clean and let the fig's gentle, soft sweetness really shine through. A satisfying seasonal dessert.👍

The take-home dessert display at Gluttony Coffee

On the way out after enjoying the drinks and desserts, the display case by the counter was pretty enough to stop me in my tracks again.😄 Croissants, financiers, canelés, and cookies with dramatic-looking cross-sections were arranged stylishly on top of basalt stones, moss, and fern objects that echo Jeju's natural landscape.

From sleek red gift boxes to matcha macadamia and cream cheese red velvet, the tempting desserts were neatly arranged, making browsing and choosing fun right up to the last minute. Gluttony Coffee bakes its bread fresh in-house every morning, and the scent of baking followed me all the way to the door — a genuinely charming space^^

Is Gluttony Coffee worth a stop near Jeju Airport?

I stumbled on Gluttony Coffee by chance during my trip, but it gave me a far more satisfying time than I expected. Enjoying delicious drinks and desserts in a warm, sunlit, atmospheric space is a moment from the day that's stuck with me.
