Seogwipo café with pistachio waterfall latte: Forest Jeongbang
In short
Forest Jeongbang is a large café beside Jeongbang Waterfall in Seogwipo, Jeju, with views of Seopseom Island and the sea. I enjoyed a hot Americano, the signature Jeongbang Waterfall Latte, and Valrhona chocolate rice cake, and dogs are welcome too. Verdict: Forest Jeongbang is a lovely stop for a sea view and a sweet pistachio latte after a waterfall walk.

Forest Jeongbang, right beside Jeongbang Waterfall in Jeju, is a wonderful café with beautiful views of the Jeju sea and Seopseom Island.

A Seopseom-view café beside Jeongbang Waterfall
The tall palm trees in front of the café create such an exotic atmosphere. There is a dedicated parking lot at the entrance, so parking is convenient too.

Forest Jeongbang is a large café occupying the whole first and second floors, and the cute character dolls at the entrance make it feel like a place children would love too.

Seopseom Island and the Jeju sea look like they are framed in a picture. It connects to the walking paths for Jeongbang Waterfall and Sojeongbang Waterfall, making it a great place to rest after sightseeing at Jeongbang Waterfall.

If you write a Naver receipt review, you can join a nostalgic prize-draw event. First prize is a premium hairtail fish set from the National Federation of Fisheries Cooperatives, and second prize is a Jeju black pork gift set, so definitely give it a try, haha.

Coffee and handmade dessert menu
Americanos are ₩5,000 and café lattes are ₩6,000, and there is a wide range of drinks including juices, ades, and smoothies.

All the sandwiches and cakes are handmade desserts prepared at the café with quality ingredients. The Jeju black pork jambon sandwich and egg sandwich look like popular options for a light meal too.

With the set menu combinations of croffles, sandwiches, or cake with an Americano, you can enjoy dessert and coffee at a better value.

Seopseom Island from the second floor and terrace
There is plenty of room, with seating on the second floor of the building with the café counter, the first floor of the adjacent building, and the outdoor terrace.

I settled on the second floor, where Seopseom Island looks so pretty.

Seopseom Island and the sea look absolutely gorgeous from the terrace too~ I recently fell for the Seopseom view at Gudumi Port, and here at Forest Jeongbang, the island looks just like a painting. Since I live in Jeju City, I did not really know Seogwipo's charms, but I think Seogwipo has so many beautiful spots tucked away in every corner.

Jeongbang Waterfall Latte and chocolate rice cake
I ordered a hot Americano, the signature Jeongbang Latte, and a sweet chocolate cake.

Valrhona chocolate rice cake
The Valrhona chocolate rice cake is ₩7,500. It is a chocolate cake made with Korean rice flour, Korean butter, French Valrhona chocolate, and 100% Korean dairy whipping cream.

It is a gluten-free cake without wheat flour, and its deep chocolate flavor feels refined. Just trying this chocolate cake makes me think the Udo peanut cake with Udo peanuts and the Jeju tangerine yogurt cake must be delicious too.

Jeongbang Waterfall Latte
The Jeongbang Waterfall Latte is ₩7,500. It is a beautifully colored pistachio latte and a signature item you can only find at Forest Jeongbang.
It combines pistachio cream, espresso, and milk cream. The pistachio cream on its own tastes like sweet pistachio ice cream, and it also goes wonderfully with the coffee. Try the Jeongbang Latte when you need a sugar boost in the afternoon~
The owner and staff at Forest Jeongbang are kind, and the Seopseom view is so good that the coffee and desserts taste even better here.

Can I bring a dog or hold a family gathering?
Even from inside on the second floor, the open sea and forest look like a painting. If you are looking for a dog-friendly café in Seogwipo, I recommend Forest Jeongbang~

It was lovely to see an international guest enjoying a Jeongbang Latte and sandwich at a terrace table too.

There are plenty of high chairs, and group private rentals are available too.

At Forest Jeongbang, a wonderful café by Jeongbang Waterfall, spend a relaxed and comfortable time with your family, partner, or dog :)
