I also gave the country-of-origin board a once-over (even though I couldn't tell you what it means haha)

Hygiene grade: Very Excellent..! The interior was spotless too, so you really don't need to worry about cleanliness here

The interior had a clean wood-tone look, with everything from solo counter seats to 6-person tables, and there were quite a few groups in for lunch

They also had a ton of baby chairs on hand, and honestly when we visited there were a lot of little customers too. Feels like a great sushi restaurant near Myeongnyun Station for the whole family to come together

What two people ordered and what it cost

At Moshi Moshi Sushi Dongnae, the two of us ordered Set 1 (₩41,900), switched to seafood udon for +₩4,000, and added Assorted Sushi B (₩23,000). That's ₩68,900 total.

So many menu options, right? Set menus, solo-dining menus, à la carte — you can pick whatever suits your mood

There were two of us but... we ordered way too much. Assorted Sushi is a single portion, and the set is confidently enough for two

On top of that, upgrading to seafood udon makes it a stomach-bursting portion for two.. Please learn from my ordering failure and order wisely haha

Side dishes and tofu salad at Moshi Moshi Sushi

At Moshi Moshi Sushi Dongnae, the banchan (side dishes) include salad, ryakgo, pickled radish, ginger, and a tofu salad. The firm tofu topped with a savory sauce was genuinely delicious.

The banchan alone already got my appetite going

What comes with Set 1 and the seafood udon upgrade

Add the seafood udon upgrade to Set 1 (₩41,900) and you get a full spread of sashimi, alcove-style egg roe rice, and seafood yaki udon. The portion was seriously huge. My eyes went wide the moment it arrived. Ordered the way I did, it could easily feed 3-4 people

A full spread of sashimi and sushi from Set 1

If you're in the mood to focus purely on sashimi, this order will fill you up in the best way. So colorful and pretty, right? It's not just two identical rows of the same type — there's variety, so it's fun to pick and choose

White fish and salmon that anyone would love! No fishy taste at all. Sashimi can get a bit dry when it's not fresh, but there was none of that — it was just chewy and moist

My sister said this tuna was amazing. Plus there were two different types of eel, so my sister took the bone-in tail piece..^^ and I took the boneless flesh haha

Like this..^^haha The tuna really melts in your mouth. I like a decent amount of rice, and this sushi restaurant near Myeongnyun Station, Moshi Moshi Sushi Dongnae, had just the right amount — filling without being too much

This white fish my sister liked was perfectly in-between — not too chewy, not too dry

Assorted Sushi B (23,000 won): just right for one

Assorted Sushi B is ₩23,000, served on a black tray. If you're dining alone but want to eat a lot of sushi, this assorted sushi set is fantastic

You can tell from the photos how varied and fresh the sushi is, right..? And what I loved the most was.. haha they really give you a lot of wasabi.......haha For someone like me who piles wasabi on like rice, this place is perfect

There's a good variety of shrimp sashimi too, and you can feel the quality in every piece. Same here — different types of eel again

Beef sushi and eel sushi from Assorted Sushi B

I don't usually eat beef sushi, but this beef was savory with a nice charred aroma — really tasty. Overall, high quality across the board! Since everything's made to order, the freshness really shows

Assorted Sushi B arranged on a black tray

The assorted set comes with tempura too. Shrimp, sweet potato, and pumpkin — why is the tempura always so good at places that serve sashimi like this...

Crispy.. savory.. sweet.. I turn into a total fanboy

This amount is just right for eating solo — a satisfying, well-rounded meal

Roe rice bowl and seafood yaki udon (+4,000 won)

The egg roe rice and seafood yaki udon included in Set 1 turned out to be the start of the tragedy. The udon is normally just plain udon, but I added ₩4,000 to upgrade it to seafood yaki udon. I thought it would come out as a small tasting portion, but no — a full plate arrives, exactly as is

Egg roe rice piled high with roe

The egg roe rice had a ton of roe in it, and that popping texture was so good — this could be sold on its own and still be a hit

A full plate of seafood yaki udon with the ₩4,000 upgrade

For an extra ₩4,000, it becomes seafood yaki udon (normally it's just plain udon). This is what it looks like when food is genuinely piled up like a mountain..

Seafood yaki udon loaded with seafood
Seafood yaki udon topped with thick slices of chashu

The seafood was loaded generously, and on top of that there were about 5 thick slices of chashu (braised pork belly). The overall spread was so hearty that upgrading to seafood yaki udon felt like the right call

Lifting up the chewy udon noodles

The udon noodles held their chewiness without going soft, and the slightly salty sauce had a savory finish that kept me coming back for more

One ordering tip for two diners

Moshi Moshi Sushi Dongnae had great composition overall and was outstanding in freshness, but our ordering mistake meant we ended up way too full. Take my post into account and order according to your headcount, and I think you'll be able to fully enjoy this sushi restaurant near Myeongnyun Station
