Yangsan brunch café for Turkish eggs & matcha latte: Famous Venny

In short

Famous Venny Yangsan Oslo Park Branch is an Australian-style brunch café inside Oslo Park in Mulgeum-eup, Yangsan, Gyeongnam. The writer shared matcha latte, affogato, a yogurt bowl, arugula cheese toast, ham cheese toast, and garlic butter egg (Turkish egg), with the garlic butter egg — poached egg mixed with yogurt and chili garlic butter — standing out most. A great pick for brunch with a group who like to order a variety and share.

I was craving a proper brunch lately, so I went to Famous Venny Yangsan Oslo Park Branch :)

When looking for brunch spots in Yangsan, the Mulgeum area comes up a lot, and among them Famous Venny in Oslo Park stood out for having such a wide brunch menu — good for visiting with a group.

Famous Venny is a café brand built around specialty coffee and Australian-style brunch, so you can enjoy not just coffee but a variety of toasts, egg dishes, and acai bowls.

Location and parking for Famous Venny Yangsan Oslo Park Branch

The branch I visited was Famous Venny Yangsan Oslo Park Branch.

The address is 14 Beomgu-ro, BK-dong 6, 7, Mulgeum-eup, Yangsan-si, Gyeongnam, South Korea, located inside Oslo Park. You can use Oslo Park's parking, so it's convenient to visit by car too.

🪑 What's the interior vibe like?

The moment I walked into Famous Venny Yangsan Oslo Park Branch, the clean yet warm interior caught my eye.

It's decorated mostly in white and wood tones, so the space feels bright and comfortable, tidy without being fussy — a good place to spend leisurely time over brunch.

The tables and chairs weren't packed too tightly either, so it looked good for visiting in a group. Plants and small props added here and there kept the overall mood from feeling too cold.

Being a brunch café, it especially suited a daytime visit with its bright, natural feel. Rather than a café you drop by just for coffee, it's more of a space where you order brunch and take your time chatting.

The clean vibe also made it easy to take photos — not just of the food but of the café interior too.

Personally, I prefer brunch cafés with this kind of clean, comfortable feel over ones that are overly decorated, and Famous Venny had exactly that.

It seemed like a good spot for a relaxed weekend brunch, catching up with friends over good food, or even a casual date.

Brunch menu options and what we ordered that day

Looking at the menu, the brunch selection was really more varied than I expected.

From The Famous Venny to French toast, garlic butter egg, smoked salmon toast, grilled mushroom toast, bacon scramble toast, avocado toast, and egg in hell — there were quite a lot of options.

There were also lighter options like acai bowl and yogurt bowl, so it was easy to pick according to your mood.

We wanted to try several dishes that day, so we ordered quite a variety.

  • Matcha latte
  • Affogato
  • Yogurt bowl
  • Arugula cheese toast
  • Ham cheese toast

Drinks: matcha latte & affogato

For drinks, we ordered matcha latte and affogato.

I like matcha drinks, so seeing MATCHA SPECIAL on the menu, I went straight for the matcha latte.

Famous Venny has more than just a basic matcha latte — there's strawberry matcha latte, blueberry oat matcha, matcha lemonade, and matcha affogato too, so matcha lovers have plenty of choices.

And the affogato we had like a dessert after brunch was great too.

Strong coffee and ice cream — that combo is hard to mess up, haha. Since the brunch dishes overall were fairly light and nutty in flavor, pairing them with coffee in between worked really well.

Ham cheese toast

Ham cheese toast is another combo that's hard to get wrong.

On sourdough with ham, mozzarella, and cheddar cheese, it was nutty and savory, easy to enjoy.

If you're new to brunch menus, ordering a basic toast like this alongside other dishes seems like a good idea.

It's also a dish with few dislikers when sharing several menus among a group, so it works especially well when visiting with others.

Arugula cheese toast

Next up, the arugula cheese toast!

It's sourdough topped with arugula, cheese, honey, and seeds — I personally like this kind of light toast when having brunch, so I enjoyed it a lot.

The distinctive arugula scent paired well with the nutty cheese, and the subtle sweetness of honey in between made the combination better than expected.

It's a good order for when a heavy meal feels like too much in the morning or at lunch, but just a salad isn't enough either.

Yogurt bowl

And the yogurt bowl we ordered for something light!

It's yogurt with honey, berries, and granola, giving a refreshing yet nutty flavor.

Eating only toast or egg dishes can get heavy after a while, but having the yogurt bowl in between made things feel cleaner in the mouth.

The granola had a nice crunchy texture too.

It was also good as a dessert-like addition alongside the brunch.

Garlic butter egg, Turkish egg

Personally, the most memorable dish we ordered that day was the garlic butter egg.

The menu also labeled it as Turkish egg — it comes with yogurt, chili garlic butter, poached egg, sourdough, pickled onion, and mixed salad.

It felt a bit different from typical brunch dishes, so I was curious and ordered it — and dipping the bread into the sauce turned out to be a great combination.

Especially breaking the poached egg and mixing it with the yogurt and sauce gave it a soft, slightly spicy, nutty flavor that kept me coming back for more.

Rather than just eating plain egg and bread, having several flavors mixed together made it a great brunch dish.

Overall, I liked Famous Venny Yangsan Oslo Park Branch for its wide range of menu choices.

Ordering several dishes to share seemed much more fun than sticking to just one menu item.

There's a good variety of toasts along with egg dishes, salads, acai bowls, and yogurt bowls, so I liked that you could choose based on your mood.

In fact, other reviews also introduce Famous Venny Yangsan Oslo Park Branch as a go-to Yangsan brunch spot where you can enjoy brunch dishes alongside acai bowls, and note that being inside Oslo Park makes it convenient in terms of access and parking.

If you like trying a bit of everything on the brunch menu like I do, I'd recommend visiting with a group and ordering different dishes like arugula cheese toast, ham cheese toast, and garlic butter egg to share.

And if you like matcha, be sure to try the matcha latte too :)
