Yangsan brunch café for croissant French toast: Famous Venny
In short
Famous Venny Yangsan Oslo Park Branch is a brunch café in Yangsan, Gyeongnam. I had garlic butter eggs, croissant French toast, and an acai bowl with coffee in its modern interior and pet-friendly outdoor space. Verdict: a great spot for a filling brunch plus a tangy-sweet acai bowl.

Whenever I went to Yangsan in Gyeongnam, I mostly headed for barbecue restaurants, but suddenly I was craving an elegant brunch and coffee. While searching for somewhere to go, I visited Famous Venny, a newly opened brunch café at Yangsan Oslo Park ✌️
A new brunch café at Oslo Park
Oslo Park is a mixed-use shopping complex that is very popular for family meals because parking is so easy. There are also things to shop for, look at, and do, making it nice for an outing.
My husband looked absolutely delighted at the thought of having one of his favorite things, sweet French toast, for the first time in a while 😆 I was so excited that they had an acai bowl. I can never forget the acai bowls I ate on my trip to Bali 🍓

After parking in the underground lot, take the escalator up just one floor and you will arrive right at the open first-floor restaurant area.
The opening date is posted beside the escalator, too. It is a newly opened brunch place 🎉
As soon as you step off the escalator, walk forward a little and you will spot green artificial grass and wooden tables on the left—today's destination, arrived 👍🏻
Pets are welcome, too 🐕 The well-designed outdoor area feels like a terrace, so you could have a happy brunch time with your dog.
Modern, comfortable interior
Once you open the door and go inside, the interior is so modern and clean ✨ It feels comfortable and stylish.
They clearly put a great deal of thought into the interior. That round standing speaker is exactly the design I have been wanting, too 😆
The counter and a bar table facing the windows are on the right, while the left side is a spacious hall with seating that can comfortably accommodate different-sized groups.

There are fresh flowers at the counter, and the careful decorating in every corner puts me in a good mood before I have even ordered 🫧

Even the drinking-water station at the self-service bar is so pretty.

Counter ordering and brunch menu
You order directly at the counter ✅ The text may be hard to see, so I enlarged it below once more.

- Brunch menu: The Famous Venny, French toast, garlic butter eggs, house salad, smoked salmon toast, grilled mushroom toast, bacon scrambled egg toast, avocado toast, eggs in hell, bacon egg roll, ham cheese toast, arugula cheese toast, acai bowl, yogurt bowl, and mushroom or sweet pumpkin soup
- There are coffee and other drinks, as well as gelato and smoothies 🍦
The egg tarts and blueberry Danish pastries are just the right size for dessert after a meal or to have one alongside coffee 🍰

After ordering, we sat at a round table in front of gallery-style framed artwork 🌿
What we ordered: garlic butter eggs, French toast, acai bowl, iced café latte, and iced Americano

Garlic butter eggs and coffee
The first food to arrive with our two coffees was the garlic butter eggs 🧄 The pansy flower on top contrasts with the red sauce and makes it such an eye-catching plate 🌼
The art on top of the latte my husband ordered is so pretty 🌸

My Americano came with a blue card explaining the coffee beans, which really elevated the mood 🆙
French toast made with a croissant
Next came this seriously amazing-looking French toast. I thought it was unique that it uses a croissant instead of sliced bread 👀 With nicely cooked bacon on top, it looked filling at a glance.

We gave it plenty of photo time before eating—the hardest time for my husband 🤣 It is warm toasted bread served with sauces to spoon over and spread on.

The sour sauce was bright and salty, while the garlic tomato sauce underneath had savory depth, so the balance was good. The thick, soft-set egg yolk was the key 🍳

I gently broke the yolk and ate it with the sauce—so warming inside~~ 🔥

The sauce was not spicy at all, so I think even people who cannot eat spicy food need not worry. It was really delicious with the crisp toasted bread 🤤
An acai bowl loaded with toppings
The acai bowl came in a petite bowl with exactly the look I wanted 🌹 Suddenly I was thinking of Bali 🌴 I want to travel around Southeast Asia againnn~~
First, let me try the toast. Because it is made with a croissant, the bread is already full of buttery aroma 🧈 Then it is dipped in egg and cooked, so you can imagine how mild and satisfying it is 🍞

There were fresh blueberries and banana, too, so if you do not want extra sweetness, you could skip the maple syrup and enjoy only the fruit's sweetness to control the sweetness level 🍌🫐

Granola, blueberries, raspberries, banana, coconut, and nuts. Acai with all those generous toppings!!! It was tangy, sweet, and cool—just the best. If it were near my home, it would be great for a solo lunch, and I would want to eat it every day as a meal replacement 🫐

Add the peanut jam spread around the middle of the bowl 🥜 and it becomes exactly the kind of acai bowl I love, with such a lovely nutty richness 👏
