Wood-toned interior and the outdoor terrace seats at Brivit

The inside of Brivit Gangnam Station had a warm, cozy feel with wood tones accented by green 🌿. There's a bar table and regular tables centered around the open kitchen, and side-by-side seating by the window too. It felt casual but had a nice atmosphere overall, so it seemed like a solid spot for a date or blind date near Gangnam Station :)

Further inside there's outdoor terrace seating too 🌿 It was cozy and had great atmosphere~~ On nice-weather days like these, eating out on the terrace instead of indoors sounds lovely. If you're looking for a Gangnam Station restaurant with an outdoor terrace, I'd recommend Brivit 💗

💚Let me introduce Brivit's menu💚 Brivit is a Western-style restaurant centered on steak and pasta~ From the signature Brivit steak to a range of pasta, gnocchi, salads and fried eggplant, there's plenty prepared, and the menu is set up nicely for ordering a few things to share. They also serve highballs, with lots of dishes that pair well with one — a good spot for a date or a get-together 🍷

Having storage compartments under the seats for bags felt like a thoughtful touch

Fried eggplant with chipotle dipping sauce

The first thing we ordered, fried eggplant, arrived! Doesn't it look super crispy...? @(・●・)@

Fresh out of the fryer, it was crispy outside and moist and soft inside. Dipping it into the spicy, savory chipotle sauce that came with it was perfect 🤎 It's a flavor even people who aren't big fans of eggplant could enjoy without hesitation!

Signature corn gnocchi that tastes like corn soup

The second dish to introduce is Brivit's signature corn gnocchi~ The gnocchi had a soft, chewy texture, and the sauce had a deep sweet, nutty corn aroma 🌽 It tasted a bit like eating a smooth, creamy corn soup! Mixing in the grilled corn kernels scattered throughout brought out even more of that nutty flavor ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ

Spicy vongole pasta, the best dish of the meal

Third up was vongole pasta~~ Ah, a familiar flavor is truly the scariest — this was the tastiest dish of the meal!!

Vongole pasta packed with clams 🦪 The savory saltiness from the clams came through with a subtle garlic aroma, and a spicy kick came through more than expected, keeping it clean without any greasiness! For someone like me who loves spicy pasta, this hit the spot completely 🔥 Alternating bites with the creamy corn gnocchi was a great combo haha

Not enough for three, so we added the Brivit steak with aligot cheese

The three of us ordered all this, but it wasn't quite enough, right~~?( ´∀｀)

So we added the Brivit steak haha. The Brivit steak features gently sous-vide skirt steak topped with plenty of stretchy aligot cheese, so it looked amazing from the first glance!!

The staff member poured a cheese waterfall right over the sous-vide skirt steak ㅠㅠㅠ

The meat was tender and moist, and the flavor of the rich red wine sauce was insane..

Eating it together with the nutty, smooth cheese gave it a pretty rich, hearty flavor!!

When it got a bit heavy, wrapping it in the green onion made it twice as tasty

There was also bread served alongside the steak — crispy outside, fluffy inside! Rather than eating it plain, dipping it generously into the aligot cheese and red wine sauce made it far tastier 🤍 It's the kind of combo that has you scraping up every last bit of sauce haha

Who is Brivit Gangnam Station best for?

Overall, with the nice atmosphere and variety of menu items, Brivit was great to visit with a group and share several dishes! It's easily accessible from both Gangnam Station and Sinnonhyeon Station, and the cozy indoor atmosphere makes it a good pick not just for blind dates or date nights, but also for occasions that call for a good-mood meal, like a gathering to hand out wedding invitations :) If you're looking for a restaurant with great atmosphere near Gangnam Station, I'd recommend Brivit Gangnam Station 🤍
