I met a friend after work on a Friday and went to Brivit Gangnam Station for some delicious pasta, gnocchi, and salad! The interior is so pretty it'd work great for a blind date or a wedding-invitation gathering, or just a date spot — let me recommend the menu from this Gangnam Station restaurant.

Inside Brivit: terrace seats and the green terrace

The inside had plenty of seating, was spacious, and clean! True to its name, the space is decorated to give you a European feel right in the middle of the city, so the vibe was great the moment I walked in. There are open terrace seats by the windows outside, and inside there's also a green terrace area filled with plants.

There are also communal long-table seats like this one, which are great for chatting comfortably over a meal with a friend — a good Sinnonhyeon Station restaurant for catching up with friends you haven't seen in a while, or for a date ❤️

With two of us, we ordered three items — 2 mains + 1 side — and the portion size ended up being just right.

Greek yogurt & tomato salad

First up, the Greek yogurt & tomato salad — I highly recommend this as an appetizer. The combo of Greek yogurt with tomato and basil is amazing, so refreshing.

It's made with Greek yogurt, basil, and tomato, and the flavor is fresh and light, making it a great light starter before the mains. It's not heavy overall, so it pairs well with both pasta and gnocchi.

Spicy vongole oil pasta

I picked the spicy vongole oil pasta. It's Brivit's special vongole oil pasta made with fresh clams, pepperoncino, and garlic — true to its name, it's got a spicy, tangy kick that went great alongside the cream-based gnocchi!

It really was loaded with clams, and they were well-cleaned of grit too. It's an oil pasta that isn't greasy at all, so I inhaled it haha. The umami from the clams combined with the flavor of garlic and pepperoncino for that clean, distinctive oil-pasta taste — I'd recommend this to anyone who likes that style!!!

Green onion cream corn gnocchi

Last up, the green onion cream corn gnocchi — one of Brivit's signature dishes, apparently made with 100% handmade gnocchi. It's known for a crispy outside and chewy inside, and tasting it, that chewy gnocchi texture with the crispy surface really is a flavor that'll appeal to everyone regardless of age or gender.

On top of that, the green onion cream and corn add a nutty, subtly sweet flavor. Whole-cut bacon is mixed in too, adding bursts of savory saltiness here and there — so freaking good.

The gnocchi's chewy texture really stood out. Sharing all three dishes with my friend, each one had such a different flavor direction that we never got tired of eating.

Is Brivit Gangnam good for a blind date or a friends' get-together?

Around Gangnam Station and Sinnonhyeon Station there's plenty to do — shopping, movie theaters, cafés — so it's easy to build a date course before or after a meal. Enjoy brunch or a light lunch during the day, and pasta, gnocchi, or steak in the evening — I recommend Brivit as a great Gangnam Station restaurant for a date.
