My partner's been managing her diet lately, and I found a hearty, easy, healthy dinner option that's perfect for it! It's a poke restaurant near Chungju Terminal — Salad Ring, Chungju Terminal Branch. We ate in-store, but they also do clean, neat delivery and takeout — a real salad packing pro. Let's get into it!
Where is Salad Ring, Chungju Terminal Branch, and is there parking?
Salad Ring, Chungju Terminal Branch is located on the 1st floor of 35 Bonggye 1-gil, Chungju-si, and there's a basement parking lot in the building, making it easy to get to by car. We checked afterward and found 1 hour of free parking was available.

The building exterior is clean and full of that green feeling right from the start — it really looks like a poke spot near Chungju Terminal. We'd originally gone to pick up takeout by car, so having a basement lot was really convenient!
Inside Salad Ring: open kitchen and self-serve bar
The interior of Salad Ring, Chungju Terminal Branch mixes wood tones and white with green touches, and the kitchen where the poke is made is open to view. There's also a self-serve bar with an ice-cold water station and utensils.

Once inside, the wood tones and white stand out along with a fresh green interior that suits a salad place well. The kitchen where the Salad Ring owner makes the poke by hand is also open, so you can see for yourself how cleanly it's run — it builds real trust!

The tables are kept spotless too — a good spot to casually come with friends for poke. Looking at the self-serve bar, the ice-filled water station was cool and neatly maintained, and the utensils were well organized and easy to use.

Ordering at the Salad Ring kiosk: what we picked
Maybe because Salad Ring is a well-known takeout spot near Chungju Terminal, they placed the ordering kiosk near the entrance so you can order and pack up quickly and easily. We ordered Atlan Salmon Bibim Poke (₩13,900) and Grilled Steak Bibim Poke (₩13,900) to share. It was great that you could choose the base — rice, pasta, etc. — and the sauce to your taste for each.
Atlan Salmon Bibim Poke with brown rice, barley and gochujang mayo
My partner's Atlan Salmon Bibim Poke came with the default brown rice and barley base and a sweet-spicy gochujang mayo sauce she chose. The bowl was big, and the portion was seriously generous.

Not long after ordering, both menu items from Salad Ring, the poke spot near Chungju Terminal, came out looking plentiful! They arrived in big bowls with fresh ingredients piled up appetizingly — the visuals alone won me over. (And yes, the portions were huge!)

My partner's gorgeous Atlan Salmon Bibim Poke! They poured the sweet-spicy gochujang mayo sauce generously over the default brown rice and barley base. Thanks to Salad Ring's signature sauce, the salmon's naturally oily richness came through smooth and savory.

With generous toppings like what looked like just-caught, chunky salmon cubes, crab stick, egg strips, cabbage, and onion flakes, it lived up to the quality you'd want from a poke spot near Chungju Terminal. (The onion flakes in particular had incredible texture!)

We mixed the dressing, various toppings, and brown rice and barley thoroughly and took a big spoonful. The combination of crisp vegetables, chewy salmon, and gochujang mayo sauce was delicious — a genuine salad-packing gem. (It's tasty and good for you, which is great, haha.)

Grilled Steak Bibim Poke swapped to a whole wheat pasta base
For my Grilled Steak Bibim Poke, I chose the spicy bibim sauce and swapped whole wheat pasta in for the brown rice base. Perfect pick for when you're on a diet but craving noodles.
Next up is the Grilled Steak Bibim Poke I ordered, one of Salad Ring's popular menu items! (Sauce: spicy bibim sauce!)

The hearty portion of grilled steak filling one side of the bowl showed why this is a great-value poke spot near Chungju Terminal. There was no gamey smell at all, and the smoky char flavor was fully soaked in, making it easy to eat. Cute quail eggs, tomatoes, and vegetables were healthily mixed in too, so eating it felt like it was doing you good.

Mixing the whole wheat pasta, meat, and plenty of vegetables well with the sauce and lifting up a big bite looked so appetizing! The spicy sauce soaked well into the noodles, so it never got boring — that was the highlight. If you like noodles, definitely pick this sauce when you get takeout poke at Salad Ring!

Even eating a spoonful of just the steak meat, it wasn't tough at all — tender and delicious! If you visit Salad Ring, the poke spot near Chungju Terminal, make sure to try this hearty protein and fresh vegetable combo!
