Songdo Indian curry restaurant: à la carte mutton masala, Manokamana
In short
Manokamana Triple Street Branch 2 is an Indian curry restaurant on B2 of Building C at Triple Street in Songdo, Incheon, run by Indian and Nepali chefs. Three of us ordered à la carte: butter chicken curry 13,000 won, mutton masala curry 14,000 won, butter naan and garlic naan at 3,000 won each, basmati rice 2,500 won, chicken tikka 13,000 won and mango lassi 4,000 won. The spicing at Manokamana stays mild, so it is an easy first Indian curry for beginners and a place we keep going back to.

Today I'm sharing a review of Manokamana Triple Street branch, one of my go-to Indian curry spots~ The chefs are actually from India and Nepal, and the spice level isn't too strong, so even people trying Indian curry for the first time can enjoy it without worry 👍
Where is Manokamana Triple Street Branch 2, and where do you park?
Manokamana Triple Street Branch 2 is in the restaurant row on B2 of Building C at Triple Street in Songdo. It's close to Technopark Station and connected to Songhyeona (Hyundai Premium Outlets Songdo), so it's easy to get to. If you're visiting Songdo, I'd recommend pairing it with the waterfront park, Songdo Resort, and Central Park ☑️
📍 Location: 33-3 Songdogwahak-ro 16beon-gil, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, South Korea ⏰ Hours: Daily 10:00-22:00 🚘 Parking: Available (Triple Street parking lot, 5 hours free) ✔️ Notes: Open regular hours on Chuseok / reservations and takeout available

It had been a while since my last visit, so I came back for Indian curry~ The exterior has such an exotic vibe, and I always enjoy the food, so Manokamana is the first place I think of when it comes to good eats at Triple Street 👍

With no break time and hours running until 10pm, you can eat here anywhere from lunch to late dinner~ It can get full during peak hours, so booking through Naver Reservations before you go might be a good idea 🤭

Inside Manokamana: seating and how to order by QR code
Inside, Manokamana is split into two floors with an exotic yet clean atmosphere. Seating ranges from 2-tops to group tables, so it works well whether you're dining solo, on a date, or out with family.
The lighting inside is exotic and pretty too 🤭 With a second floor, the place is bigger than you'd expect

It's not just the atmosphere — the tableware and music really nail the authentic feel too. The Nepali and Indian staff and chefs speak great Korean, so communication was easy 👍 You order via the QR code at your table and pay at the counter on your way out~

What is on the Manokamana menu, and what comes as sides?
Manokamana specializes in Indian food. Alongside set menus, there's an à la carte lineup of tandoori dishes, curries, fried rice, pasta, and stir-fried noodles — if it's your first visit, I'd recommend the set menu so you can try a bit of everything~

The basic side dishes are pickled onions, pickles, and jalapeños, which go so well with curry. The pickled onions especially are sweet and spicy — I couldn't stop reaching for them 😆

Our à la carte order for three: butter chicken and mutton masala curry
For the menu, we ordered two curries, two naans, rice, chicken tikka, and a lassi — a good amount for three people to share~
Curry (Butter Chicken) ₩13,000 Curry (Mutton Masala) ₩14,000
The butter chicken curry has a tomato and cream base and is the most famous curry at Manokamana! It's fairly creamy with mild spice, so it's easy to enjoy, and the chicken gives it a nice texture 👏

My personal favorite is the slightly spicy, tomato-based mutton masala curry! It's thicker and richer than the butter chicken, with a subtle mutton aroma from the meat inside — totally my taste 🥹👍
Butter naan, garlic naan and basmati rice at Manokamana
Butter Naan ₩3,000 Garlic Naan ₩3,000 Basmati Rice ₩2,500

These are handmade naans baked in a traditional clay oven — nutty and light, and just so good. The garlic naan has a subtle garlic flavor, while the butter naan is a bit sweeter with a buttery aroma; the combination of the two was amazing~

Basmati rice is Indian rice with a fluffy, separated texture. It has less stickiness than white rice and scatters more, but it actually pairs better with curry 👏

Both the rice and the naan pair perfectly with the curry, so I'd recommend ordering both!
Chicken tikka and mango lassi: how were they?
Chicken Tikka ₩13,000

Chicken tikka is boneless tandoori chicken — chicken marinated in spices and roasted in the clay oven, with a slight bite and a clean flavor~ It's delicious dipped in sauce with a side of salad, and also great eaten alongside the curry 🤤
Mango Lassi ₩4,000

You have to try the lassi too ☑️ Plain, strawberry, and mango are all good, but mango was my personal number one. It's a thin, watery yogurt drink that isn't too sweet — highly recommend it
