First-time Indian curry in Songdo: QR-order Set B at Manokamana
In short
Manokamana Triple Street Branch 2 is an Indian restaurant in the Triple Street dining strip in Songdo, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon. A couple trying Indian food for the first time ordered Set B for two through the table QR code, adding garlic naan, a mango lassi and a strawberry lassi for a total of 40,500 won, and found both the chicken tikka and the butter chicken curry smooth and easy on the spice. For anyone new to Indian curry, the set at Manokamana was the easiest way to taste a bit of everything.

Today I went with my partner to Songdo Triple Street for some Indian food! I'd never tried Indian cuisine before... but spoiler: it was wayyyy tastier than I expected ദ്ദിㆁᴗㆁ✿) This was my first-ever Indian curry, and everything from the curry to the naan to the lassi was so good that I was already picking my next-visit menu ❤️

Where is Manokamana Triple Street Branch 2 in Songdo?
We visited Manokamana Triple Street Branch 2 (the original Branch 1 is near the Coast Guard headquarters). It's inside Triple Street, so it was easy to find, and it's connected by an underground passage from Songhyeon-a apartments too, so if you're searching for Triple Street restaurants or Songhyeon-a restaurants, this one's worth bookmarking 🫶🏻

Parking at Triple Street Building C, basement level 2
🚗 Parking tip 🚗 If you're driving, enter through Triple Street Building C and park on basement level 2. Parking near Napoli 1-beonga Gate C and Escalator 6 makes it easiest to find the restaurant. After parking, just head toward the entrance shown in the photo and you'll spot the store right away without wandering around. First-timers should be able to follow the photos and find it easily :)
The parking lot connects directly to the restaurant like this!
What the Manokamana dining room feels like
The moment you step inside, the place is full of that distinctly Indian, exotic vibe | ˶'ᵕ'˶) Is this actually India?! From the walls to the decor, everything is done up in an Indian style, so it's fun just to look around — and the staff, the owner, and the chef are all Indian ఇ꒰ㆁ̴̶̷̤́.̮ㆁ̴̶̷̤̀꒱ Of course, they all speak great Korean too!

Sitting at the table, for a brief moment it genuinely felt like I was on a trip to India, hahaha. Since Indian food isn't something I usually get to eat, being able to soak up this exotic atmosphere along with the meal made it feel even more special ❤️

The open kitchen starts cooking the moment you order (* ॑꒳ ॑* )⋆*
Since this is an authentic Indian restaurant, there's a really wide range of menu items!
What comes in Set B for two, and what it costs
Here's the order slip.

What I ordered was: Set B for 2 (+₩19,000), Garlic Naan (+₩500), Butter Chicken curry, Mango Lassi (+₩1,000), and Strawberry Lassi (+₩1,000) — total paid was ₩40,500.

Ordering by table QR code at Manokamana
Instead of flagging down a server to order, you scan the QR code on the table and order directly! Once you scan it, you can browse the menu and options and pick exactly what you want — way more convenient than I expected (๑¯ ˙̫̮ ¯๑) I even screenshotted the ordering screens along the way, so if this is your first visit, the images below should make ordering much easier.

You pick everything one step at a time — the set, the type of naan, the curry, the spice level, and the drink (⸝⸝ ᷇•⩊• ᷆⸝⸝) Set B lets you sample a bit of everything for ₩18,000 per person, so even a first-timer like me could order without any worry ❤️

The side dishes and the full Set B spread
👆🏻 Here are the three side dishes that come standard: pickles, pickled chili, and this red one is a marinated onion. It's sweet-and-spicy and genuinely delicious! Being new to Indian food, I approached tasting it pretty cautiously, haha.
Set B comes with green salad, chicken tikka, curry, naan, rice, and lassi all together — plenty of variety to share little bites of everything between two people, and the portion size was just right ꙳⸌(ᵒ͈̑ᴗ̂ᵒ͈̑ )

Pairing it with the green salad made everything taste extra fresh~
Mango lassi vs strawberry lassi
Since it was my first time with Indian food, this was also my first lassi ever (haha). Personally, the lassi turned out way tastier than I expected. We ordered one mango and one strawberry lassi, and both were sweet and smooth — like drinking yogurt~

How the chicken tikka tasted
We started with the chicken tikka ʕ ᵔᆺᵔ ʔ I'd assumed Indian food would be heavy on strong, unfamiliar spices, but it wasn't like that at all — no surprising odd flavors! It had a mildly spicy-smelling aroma without actual heat, paired with tender chicken thigh meat~ Even as an Indian-food newbie, I genuinely enjoyed it (๑˙ꄃ˙๑)♡⃛

Butter chicken curry with garlic naan
For the curry I picked Butter Chicken — figured the butter-and-chicken combo would be a safe choice (𓏼ᖛ⥿ᖛ𓏼) Indian curry itself was totally unfamiliar territory for me, but it was way smoother and so, so, so good. Sweet and smooth, and not that intense curry smell I expected — more like a really delicious sauce. Ah, I want it again already... my kid would probably devour it mixed into rice too 👶🏻 Dipping the naan into the curry especially drove me crazy~

Instead of the plain naan, I chose Garlic Naan, and the subtle garlic aroma paired perfectly with the butter curry~ We ate it two ways — dunking the naan generously into the curry, and also spooning curry over rice — and both ways were so good I'm practically crying ໒꒰ྀི ˵ˊᯅˋ˵ ꒱ა

New to Indian food? Why the set is the easy order
Honestly, I'd never properly eaten Indian food before, so I was a little nervous walking in this time too. But once I actually tried it, it was so much better than expected ❤️
Set B in particular lets you enjoy a variety of dishes at once without ordering everything separately, and it's great value — so I think it's the easiest option for first-timers like me ❤️ If you're looking for something different to eat in Songdo, or want to try Songdo Indian curry or Songdo Indian food for the first time, I'd recommend Manokamana Triple Street Branch 2!
Tella's places worth going back to
This was my first Indian meal, and it turned out so much tastier than I expected that it suddenly made me want to visit India itself, hahaha. Since my first taste of India through food turned out to be way more appealing than I thought, next time I want to try more of the dishes I haven't had yet at Manokamana. I'm planning to go back soon for Set A — it has an even wider variety of dishes, haha. After that, I'll probably start ordering à la carte based on what I like.
One delicious meal of Indian food, and now I'm randomly dreaming about a trip to India. Can't wait to see what Indian dish I discover next ❤️
