I was shopping at Hyundai Premium Outlet Songdo and got a little hungry, so I stopped by Angry Potato.

I remembered enjoying Angry Potato's fries before, and this time I was curious about the new Boxes & Packs. I picked out the Deep Crunch Chicken Box, Chipotle Pulled Pork, and Mac and Cheese Hot Chicken to try.

How does the self-serve sauce zone work?

One thing I liked about the Angry Potato Songdo location was the self-serve sauce zone. Fries and chicken taste different depending on the sauce, so being able to grab whichever sauce I wanted made it easy to eat to my taste. Switching sauces partway through instead of sticking to just one let me enjoy the menu in more ways.

Packing up leftovers yourself at Angry Potato

Anything left over can be self-packed. When you order a few different things, it's sometimes hard to finish it all at once, so being able to pack it up yourself was convenient. Even with more shopping ahead, I could neatly take the leftovers with me.

The Mac and Cheese Hot Chicken combined savory, creamy mac and cheese with spicy chicken. Of the three, it felt the richest, and the soft, savory mac and cheese paired well with the spicy chicken. Switching back and forth with the crunchy Deep Crunch Chicken Box let me enjoy two very different flavors.

What kind of dish is the Chipotle Pulled Pork?

I also ordered the Chipotle Pulled Pork. The tender, falling-apart pulled pork with chipotle flavor gave me a different taste experience from the Deep Crunch Chicken Box. Pairing it with the potato items added a meaty richness that worked well together.

Since I'm a fan of potato menus, I liked that chewy potatoes were included in the box. Being able to eat chicken and potatoes together made for a pretty filling simple meal.

I visited this time because I was curious about the new Boxes & Packs, and trying the Deep Crunch Chicken Box, Chipotle Pulled Pork, and Mac and Cheese Hot Chicken showed me that each menu item had its own distinct flavor and texture, letting me enjoy a good variety.

It was a great stop when hungry while shopping, and the Deep Crunch Chicken Box with its chewy potatoes and chicken combo stood out especially.
