Wood-fired pizza in Hanam with baby chairs for kids: The Pizzeria
In short
The Pizzeria Market Hanam Misa is a New York-style wood-fired pizza restaurant by the Misa riverside in Hanam, Gyeonggi. A family of four with a 5-year-old and 2-year-old ordered New York Margherita pizza (₩25,000), truffle mushroom cream pasta with paccheri short pasta (₩18,000), and lemon pepper buffalo wings (₩12,000), and found baby chairs and kids' tableware ready to go. The 48-hour cold-fermented dough and mild, non-spicy lemon pepper wings made it a genuinely satisfying meal out with kids.

I went to The Pizzeria Market, one of the well-known, great-atmosphere wood-fired pizza spots in Hanam Misa. Going to a hot spot with two kids isn't easy, but they welcomed us happily with our 5-year-old and 2-year-old, and everything from the vibe to the menu to the taste was so satisfying that I'm writing this up with a smile — a four-family visit review of The Pizzeria Market, a Hanam Misa favorite :)

The Pizzeria Market is really close to Mangwolcheon and Misa Lake Park, so it's great for a little stroll date before or after the meal. We walked along Mangwolcheon with the kids, blew bubbles for a while, and then went to eat — the kids worked up an appetite along the way, haha.

An exterior with New York vibes
Since this place is going for New York-style handmade wood-fired pizza, you can smell that Hanam-atmosphere vibe from the exterior alone...

In America every restaurant has a grade posted outside, and the owner even worked that into the interior design here — such attention to detail 👍

The delicious New York-style wood-fired pizza is available for takeout, and dogs are welcome too, so it seems like even more people are drawn to visit.

Atmosphere and seating
The dining hall itself is huge, with lots of tables and outdoor terrace seating as well, so we could comfortably sit wherever we wanted.

Overall it's a warm yet casual dining vibe, and after all that walking we were sweating, so the nice cool, comfortable air inside felt amazing hahaha. Inside, couples on Hanam dates, friends, and families were all enjoying delicious New York-style wood-fired pizza.

Is it okay to bring kids?
Baby chairs and kids' tableware were both ready, so it was great to visit with our 5-year-old and 2-year-old.
What we ordered and the prices
- New York Margherita Pizza — ₩25,000
- Truffle Mushroom Cream Pasta — ₩18,000 (paccheri short pasta option)
- Lemon Pepper Buffalo Wings (8pcs) — ₩12,000 (with ranch sauce, carrot and celery)
- Sprite — ₩3,000
- Budweiser — ₩5,000
You order through the kiosk attached to the table. Our first kid, now 5, eats a lot more these days, so if we don't order generously, mom and dad end up going hungry — a real disaster — so we ordered plenty: pizza, pasta, and wings :)

Water, pickles, jalapeños, plates and so on are at the self-serve bar near the entrance — take as much as you like.

There are sauces on the table like hot sauce and crushed pepper, and since my husband and I both love sprinkling crushed pepper on pizza, this hit the spot perfectly.

Sprite ₩3,000 / Budweiser ₩5,000. Budweiser and Sprite to cool you down — great with beer or soda like we had, but I bet it'd also pair well with a wine date or with whiskey!

The pizza and wings came out first, and the truffle pasta arrived almost right after, so luckily I managed to snap a full-spread food photo hahaha. With the whole 4-top table filled with delicious smells, our 5-year-old kept rushing us to put pizza and pasta on her plate hahaha.

New York Margherita Pizza — ₩25,000
Since The Pizzeria Market, a Misa favorite, is all about wood-fired pizza, the dough is really the star — crispy like a baguette, savory, yet light, so both of us and both kids ate it up happily. Apparently they blend Italian Caputo flour with organic whole wheat themselves and cold-ferment it for a whopping 48 hours in their own dough lab as a naturally leavened sourdough. Every good dish really does come down to the care put into it.

Lemon Pepper Buffalo Wings (8pcs) — ₩12,000
(with ranch sauce, carrot and celery option) There's a huge variety of buffalo wing sauces — hot honey, hot sour, lemon pepper, garlic parmesan and more. Since our 5-year-old can't handle spicy food yet, we went with lemon pepper, and honestly the clean flavor was a nice choice.
Celery and ranch sauce, essential with wings, were so good to have again after a while haha, and our 5-year-old confidently picked up the wings and ate — I honestly lost count of how many she had by herself hahaha.

Truffle Mushroom Cream Pasta — ₩18,000
(paccheri short pasta option) A pasta defined by its soft mushroom cream sauce topped fragrantly with rich white truffle oil. Our whole family loves mushroom cream pasta, and we chose paccheri short pasta for the noodles. Paccheri short pasta is a wide, large tube shape — short cylinders that would unroll into a rectangle — and the wide interior holds the sauce well, with a chewy texture that's really appealing.
The emulsion was excellent, so the creamy sauce was delicious, and it paired well with the fresh arugula too — dipping the pizza crust edge into this sauce in particular made both the pizza and the pasta sauce even better.

Everything we ordered was a hit, so next time I want to order these same dishes again — but the other menu items look tasty too, so it'll be a tough call hahaha.

What to try next time
On weekdays they release a daily limited pizza boat menu, and apparently their sandwiches made with in-house baked focaccia and homemade pastrami are also popular. Next time, after dropping the kids off, I'm going to come back just for a sandwich!
