You can park in the underground parking lot inside the building, but it gets pretty crowded on weekends, so it's more convenient to park at Hanam Sports Complex across the street.

Yes! Kids zone. This is a restaurant popular in Hanam because both adults and kids can enjoy their meal happily. This was actually my second visit 😊

Inside the restaurant, group rooms, and high chairs

Inside, there's a large main hall plus separate rooms. There were so many seats it looked like it could easily handle a big crowd. The wood-and-black interior gave it a clean, tidy atmosphere.

Hanmaeum Jeongyuk Sikdang Hanam Misa Branch is said to be the first restaurant in Korea certified in aging technology by Germany's Mouguntia food group, giving its aged meat real credentials. Aged twice at 2°C over 144 hours, the meat is said to deliver the best flavor and texture, and it's butchered on-site.

What I ordered and the prices

Time to order some delicious meat. Here's what I got:

  • ✔️Dolpan soseokgalbi (stone plate short rib): ₩42,000
  • ✔️Aged pork belly: ₩16,900
  • ✔️Aged pork jowl: ₩16,900

How the banchan (side dishes) are served

First up, the unlimited refill doenjang stew (soybean paste stew) served as a basic side. Unlimited doenjang stew refills… it's really so delicious and great :) I lost count of how many times I refilled it ^^

Jjolmyeon (chewy noodles) with scallion mix. The noodles are underneath the scallions, and mixing them together makes for a nice change of pace.

  • Fresh kimchi (geotjeori)
  • Lettuce salad with kiwi dressing
  • Wild garlic leaves / pickles / pickled chili peppers
  • Pickled onions
  • Japchae (glass noodle stir-fry)
  • White kimchi (baek-kimchi)

Grilled mackerel. You get to enjoy both meat and mackerel — grilled mackerel is included as a basic side too. (Amazing, right?!)

There's a self-serve corner in the middle of the restaurant. Please only take what you'll eat 🙏 ✔️Ask staff for any additional side dishes.

How was the dolpan soseokgalbi?

The dolpan soseokgalbi comes with a stone plate covered in onions, topped with seasoned pre-grilled beef short rib, plus scallions and garlic flakes. It smelled amazing before I even tasted it. It's sweet and salty, so great for kids to eat too, and when I piled the short rib onto a bite of rice, it was absolutely delicious. The onions cooked on the stone plate added even more flavor when eaten together.

My husband's favorite — aged pork belly and aged pork jowl. We were eating so fast that I didn't take a single photo of the meat actually grilling… oops. The pork belly and jowl were genuinely delicious though, haha. The thickness and fat ratio were just right. We really enjoyed it :)

What's the kids' room like?

✔️You can watch the kids playing in real time from your table, so you can eat with peace of mind.

✔️The kids' room. A huge plus is a kids' zone that will really satisfy children. So convenient, haha.

Entrance to the kids' room inside the restaurant

Young children must be accompanied by a parent to enter.

Interior of the spacious, pleasant kids' room

The kids' room is bigger and more pleasant than I expected. It seemed very well maintained. With a slide, seesaw, swing, and trampoline, kids can really have a blast.

Arcade games and claw machine corner in the kids' room

There are also arcade games and a claw machine, so kids won't get bored ^^ Maybe that's why there were so many families dining there.

Coffee vending machine near the entrance

There's a coffee vending machine near the entrance.

Old-fashioned snack corner that kids kept visiting

There's also old-fashioned Korean snacks, so kids who finished eating kept grabbing them here and there. My daughter did too ^^

Wrap-up

Overall, I was satisfied with the food, service, and facilities at Hanmaeum Jeongyuk Sikdang. Families dining out with kids will especially appreciate the kids' zone. I'd recommend visiting Hanmaeum Jeongyuk Sikdang Hanam Misa Branch 😊
