Busan Haeundae family outing: napa cabbage Caesar salad at Bueokgan
In short
Bueokgan Haeundae Branch is a Western restaurant on Dalmaji-gil in Haeundae, Busan, filling a whole building shared with a bakery and a Chinese restaurant. On a Busan outing with her husband and baby, the writer ordered the couple's dish set and added truffle mushroom cream gnocchi, napa cabbage Caesar salad and arugula prosciutto pizza, paying 68,000 won in total. Portions at Bueokgan were generous, the sweet pumpkin soup was the highlight, and the good window seats need a reservation.

Where is Bueokgan Haeundae Branch, and how are parking and hours?
I went to Bueokgan, a famous brunch spot in Haeundae, Busan. Turns out the whole building belongs to Bueokgan — there's Bueokgan Bakery, Bueokgan Chinese, and Bueokgan Western, and it's already well known as a pasta place in Haeundae.

I visited with my husband and baby during our Busan outing, and to cut to the chase — I was so, so satisfied. The portions were huge and everything was delicious!

There's underground parking as well as a parking space beside the restaurant. We used the space beside the restaurant ღ'ᴗ'ღ

Hours are 11:00–21:00, with a break time from 15:00–16:30 and last order at 20:30. Just take the elevator up to the 2nd floor.

Inside Bueokgan Haeundae Branch: seating and atmosphere

Overall it's clean and tidy, and the window seats have this lovely soft sunlight coming in. Seeing how many tables were reserved, I understood why it's called a Haeundae brunch hotspot. Good seats absolutely need a reservation~~~👍🏻👍🏻 It would also make a great date spot!

The area in front of where the chefs cook has a totally different vibe, done up in green tones~~~ Such a classy-feeling Haeundae pasta spot 🫶🏻

The pumpkin soup and the ades came out first. Husband had grapefruit ade~ I had lemonade~

The pumpkin soup is my absolute favorite... ღ'ᴗ'ღ It was so good for a Haeundae brunch spot. Even my husband, who normally doesn't like pumpkin soup, said it was tasty and kept spooning it up — a real Haeundae Western food win!!

The ades had a nice fizzy kick~ Not too sweet, which I actually preferred.
Truffle mushroom cream gnocchi, napa cabbage Caesar salad and arugula prosciutto pizza

Look how generously it was all laid out?? Brunch is love ღ'ᴗ'ღ

The truffle mushroom cream gnocchi was packed with mushroom aroma and the gnocchi itself was so chewy and delicious! There was quite a lot of it too — I kept eating and eating and it never seemed to end.

For the napa cabbage Caesar salad, the staff told us to cut it up with scissors and toss it ourselves~! My husband tried it and said it was clean-tasting and really good!

The arugula prosciutto pizza was piled high with arugula, so it felt like eating a salad. Salads don't make you fat~~~~ ღ'ᴗ'ღ
Is Bueokgan worth it for a Haeundae date or family outing?
If you make a reservation at this Haeundae brunch and Western food spot, you get to sit somewhere the sunlight gently pours in — a real perk for a date. If you sign up for notifications, they give you a free iced tea. I'd highly recommend it as a Haeundae date spot.
The staff were kind, the whole place felt clean and tidy, and the food was top-notch, so no wonder it's so popular. If you're thinking about grabbing brunch at this Haeundae favorite, I'd say go right now ◡̈
