Bukchon date restaurant with truffle sauce on request: Low Five Anguk

Today I went to Low Five, a pizza restaurant near Anguk Station, before a date with a friend on Seosunra-gil. I'd tried to visit the Suwon Haenggung-dong branch before but got caught by their break time — this time I got lucky at the Anguk location!

Let me just say upfront — the atmosphere is amazing and everything, both the pizza and the pasta, was delicious. So I'm recommending Low Five Anguk as an Anguk Station restaurant and date spot!

Where is Low Five Anguk? Location, hours and parking

Low Five Anguk is located on the 1st floor of 20-3 Bukchon-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul, open 11:30–21:00. It's less than a 10-minute walk from Anguk Station Exit 2, so it's easy to reach by public transit.

Parking near Low Five Anguk is limited, so I'd recommend taking public transit!

Outside Low Five Anguk and the wait at 1:30pm on a Thursday

You can register for waiting at Low Five Anguk on-site or remotely through CatchTable. I visited around 1:30pm on a weekday Thursday and got in with no wait at all.

The red-brick exterior is so pretty that lots of people were taking photos outside.

There was a bit of waiting building up, 1-2 parties at a time, so I imagine weekends get busier.

There's spacious group seating, and the window seats have a nice view — totally makes this an Anguk Station date restaurant! Plus the restrooms are super clean.

There's a self-serve bar in the middle of the restaurant where you can grab hot sauce and grated parmesan cheese.

Tables come with basic cutlery already set.

Low Five Anguk menu: half-and-half pizza and an English menu

There's a paper menu, and since a lot of foreign visitors come here, they also have an English menu ready.

Pizzas can be ordered half-and-half, and there's a fairly wide variety of pastas too. For kimchi fried rice, salad, baguette, and cilantro add-ons, check the video for the full menu!

What we ordered: corn pizza, Alfredo cream pasta and kimchi fried rice

Alfredo cream pasta, 18,000 won

Alfredo cream pasta, ₩18,000. Pasta and pizza together — that's a classic combo, right? It comes with a huge slab of bacon.

When you eat the bacon and shrimp together in one bite, the savory Alfredo cream, salty bacon, and shrimp texture combo is insanely good, seriously.

Kimchi fried rice, 13,000 won

Kimchi fried rice without avocado, ₩13,000. You can add avocado for ₩1,000 extra. I had mine without.

The kimchi fried rice has this fluffy, soft egg on top as the real kicker. The seasoning was spot on, and there's furikake or something similar sprinkled on top. It felt like eating truly good kimchi fried rice! The cream pasta and kimchi fried rice combo is great too, honestly.

Corn pizza, 25,000 won

Corn pizza, ₩25,000. This is basically the signature pizza of Low Five, famous for its pizzas!! The corn pops in your mouth, which makes for a fun texture too.

As expected, it was incredibly delicious — the combination of white truffle cream, bacon, chili shrimp, butter seasoning, and grilled corn is out of this world.

The handmade truffle sauce you only get if you ask

This handmade truffle sauce is served if you ask for it separately.

It's a garlic dipping sauce with a hint of truffle aroma, and it went really well with the pizza — I enjoyed it a lot.

Is Low Five Anguk worth it on a Seosunra-gil or Bukchon date course?

It was a great choice for a Seosunra-gil date course and a solid pick as an Anguk Station restaurant — Low Five Anguk. I'd recommend it for a Seosunra-gil or Bukchon date course!
