You can catch Suspicious PT Shop at Nine Theater in Daehak-ro! It's about a 2-minute walk from Hyehwa Station Exit 1, so it was super easy to find 👍🏻 Is this a workout or a seduction... suspicious from the entrance onward, suspicious indeed 🥹🥹

You head down to the basement level, and right there are props from "Suspicious Hair Salon"! Turns out this is the sequel to that hit predecessor 🩷 Oh, well then I trust it already~ 😖

They've also set up exercise equipment props from Suspicious PT Shop, so this spot was perfect for a photo op 🩷

They also had coffee, water, and tea to drink while waiting for the show, plus a cozy lounge area, so arriving early to wait comfortably was a nice touch too 👍🏻

Cinema-soft seats with generous legroom

And what I liked best of all ✨ — unlike typical Daehak-ro small theaters where the chairs are usually hard, cramped, and packed together, Nine Theater has plush, movie-theater-style seats, so I was comfortable the entire show 🥹 The gap between front and side seats was also wide, so my legs weren't cramped either. Very nice ⭐️

How does seat assignment work at Nine Theater?

Got the ticket and headed in 🎟️ We were guided to the second row, Row B! Apparently seats are assigned sequentially and randomly based on purchase order. But if there's a spot you specifically want, contacting them ahead lets them accommodate you as much as possible 👍 The seat height difference between rows is significant, so the stage is visible well from any seat — any row would've been fine, haha.

Even the lighting looked suspicious~ haha, honestly this was the first time I felt this nervous and excited before a play even started, lol.

Watching Suspicious PT Shop from Row B: my review

Photography is obviously banned during the play, so I quickly snapped these only during the final photo time 🫶 My honest impression? Wow, it's genuinely this racy and comedic and fun at the same time, lol. The intensity is seriously wild... 😖 I genuinely didn't know where to look, so I kept glancing at my boyfriend, lol, and we'd catch eyes and both have a little panic moment together.

At the start, to break the ice, they ask the audience questions, do quizzes, and give out prizes — and even that had a surprising level of intensity, and I'm in my 30s ⭐️ Of course it wasn't just about the heat — the content itself was solid and entertaining too! With the actors' dancing and constantly changing hot workout outfits, there was plenty to look at, making for a flashier show overall 🩷

How far does Suspicious PT Shop actually go?

So you're wondering exactly how far it goes, right 🥹 I searched this exact thing before going too, lol. Basically, think full frontal nudity from the female actress. Being an adult play, there are plenty of bed scenes too...! I genuinely wondered if this was even allowed right in front of my eyes. This might just be the most intense play in Daehak-ro, worth the recommendation ⭐️

Verdict: who is Suspicious PT Shop right for?

Got a proper dopamine boost in Hyehwa after a long time 🤣 There were solo attendees, groups of female friends, groups of male friends, and plenty of couples and married pairs too! The vibe is more diverse and comfortable than you'd expect 🩷

Personally, I'd recommend this for an unusual date night with a partner or spouse! A show this bold once in a while isn't a bad idea, right? Lol. Early in a relationship it might feel a bit awkward for both of you... but who cares, you're a couple~ 🤭 If you're in Hyehwa looking for something more unique than an ordinary play to get that dopamine rush, I recommend Suspicious PT Shop!
