Mibundang, a lunch favorite near Dongtan Station, is a 5-minute walk from Exit 2. It's my favorite pho place, and lately more branches have popped up around town, so it's gotten much easier to get to.

Hutgae tea and parasols for waiting customers
Apparently there's a wait during peak times like weekday lunch, but the moment I arrived, I was touched by the owner's extra thoughtfulness — was I wrong? There was cool hutgae (raisin tree) tea and parasols set up for customers waiting outside! Even the small details felt considered from the customer's perspective, and it put me in a good mood before I'd even walked in.

At Mibundang, you order and pay outside before entering. We arrived around 2 pm and were lucky enough to walk right in with no wait.
A sanctuary for solo diners near Dongtan Station: all bar seating

Inside, you're greeted by soft wood interiors and calm, cozy lighting. Every seat is bar-style (daji), making this the perfect spot for eating alone near Dongtan Station.

True to Mibundang's usual style, the interior keeps a calm and quiet atmosphere. Everyone just quietly eats, so it's really easy to enjoy a solo meal without worrying about anyone's eyes.

Utensils in hygiene bags, sauces prepped on the overhead shelf, and even hair ties — the interior is full of thoughtful touches too.
Brisket-tendon pho taste review

I wanted something filling, so I ordered the brisket-tendon pho 💛 It's totally loaded, right?
Softly shredded brisket, tender chadolbagi (thinly sliced beef), and chewy tendon came piled so high you almost couldn't see the noodles.

You have to eat the bean sprouts together with the rice noodles to really taste what makes Mibundang's pho so good — and it really was delicious.

The broth is clean yet deep, standout stuff. It's tuned to Korean tastebuds so the spice aroma isn't too strong, making it a crowd-pleaser without polarizing anyone. FYI, Mibundang gives free refills of noodles, bean sprouts, and broth with one order per person! The base portion is already so generous that you'll be full, but for those who think 'I'm truly a big eater,' this place is nothing short of perfect.
The assorted fried platter, too

We also ordered the assorted fried platter, which lets you try a bit of everything from Mibundang's side menu. From crispy rolls to buffalo wings, it was just the right spread for two people to share.

Paired with the clean-tasting pho, it was really good.

A bowl of pho made with care, plus warm thoughtfulness, added up to a full and happy lunch. 💛 I'd recommend Mibundang, a pho spot near Dongtan Station where you can eat comfortably and to your heart's content without worrying about anyone else.
