I was craving galbi (marinated ribs) for dinner in Bupyeong, so I went to Nocheongol Bupyeong Main Branch. The staff grill the meat for you there, so I could just relax and eat, and the side dishes and extras came out so generously that two of us had a proper feast. Here's why I'd recommend this Bupyeong meat restaurant and the menu I actually tried!

Nocheongol Bupyeong Main Branch has generous spacing between tables and an overall clean atmosphere. The second floor in particular has a private room and a waiting area, so it looked like a good option for anyone looking for a spot for a family gathering or group dinner. There's also group seating, worth keeping in mind if you're looking for a Bupyeong spot for a work dinner.

Where do you park near Nocheongol Bupyeong Main Branch?

We used the Camp Market temporary public parking lot, which is about a 5-minute walk from the restaurant — worth noting if you're driving there.

Nocheongol Bupyeong Main Branch has a wide range of meat options — from marinated and raw Korean pork ribs to beef short ribs, hanwoo (Korean beef), and yukhoe (beef tartare). At lunch, there are also set menus like the galbi set and hot-pot rice set, so there's plenty of choice for a meal.

Ordering meat brought out a spread of side dishes — salad, japchae (glass noodle stir-fry), kimchi, and more — so the table was quite full. Seasoned crab comes as a default side, and it was so good we ordered an extra plate. I'd recommend both the seasoned crab and the steamed egg as sides to eat alongside the ribs.

How do the staff-grilled marinated pork ribs taste?

The best part was that a staff member grills the ribs for you! Marinated meat needs constant flipping to avoid burning, which can be a bit stressful, but since the staff handled the grilling, we could just chat and eat comfortably. The well-grilled marinated pork ribs were tender, and the seasoning had soaked in well — salty with a gentle sweetness, good eaten on its own and great with rice too.

Marinated ribs with Hamhung naengmyeon: the best pairing

To go with the marinated ribs, we ordered both water naengmyeon and spicy naengmyeon. Since it's hand-pulled Hamhŭng-style naengmyeon, the noodles were chewy with great texture. Pairing the sweet marinated ribs with the cool water naengmyeon cleansed the palate, and eating it with the spicy naengmyeon was a whole different, equally good combination.

Placing a well-grilled piece of rib on top of the naengmyeon worked especially well together. Rather than just eating the ribs, I'd recommend ordering naengmyeon too and alternating between the two!

Was dinner at this Bupyeong rib restaurant worth it?

Overall I really enjoyed Nocheongol Bupyeong Main Branch — the tender marinated pork ribs and the generous, varied side dishes. Most of all, having the staff grill the meat for us made the meal so easy and relaxed. The second floor also has a private room and group seating, making it a great fit for family gatherings or work dinners. If you're looking for a Korean BBQ restaurant in Incheon where staff do the grilling for you, this is a Bupyeong meat restaurant I'd happily visit again :)
