Cheonan brunch café with floor seating for a baby: Siyudang

In short

Siyudang is a three-story bakery brunch café on the Taehaksan forest drive course in Cheonan, Chungnam. The writer sat at a floor table on the 2nd floor with her baby, ordering rugola prosciutto pizza, squid-ink octopus risotto and an Americano, plus a chocolate egg tart from a review event. With wide parking, a diaper-changing station and floor seating, it's an easy spot for an outing with a little one.

I visited Siyudang, a brunch café that's great to bring a baby to. I'd actually been here before I had my baby, and coming back with her this time felt like a completely different experience.

What kind of café is Siyudang, on Taehaksan in Cheonan?

Siyudang, located near Taehaksan in Cheonan, isn't just a coffee-and-dessert café — it's a place where you can enjoy a full range of bakery items plus brunch or dinner menus together. It's a good spot for families, couples, or trips with kids. Parking is spacious too, so you don't need to worry about that when you visit.

Siyudang has three floors, and there are outdoor tables on the 1st floor as well.

Right when you walk in, there's a pretty photo zone.

I heard Siyudang goes up to the 4th floor, but when I visited I only used the 2nd and 3rd floors.

A bakery display case that catches your eye from the entrance

Walking into Siyudang, my eyes were drawn to the variety of baked goods right from the entrance.

I visited not long after opening, so there were plenty of freshly baked breads. I came for brunch but ended up mesmerized by the bread instead, haha. With so many kinds of bread displayed so nicely, you could easily grab a simple dessert after brunch, all in one place.

Two events running at Siyudang

Siyudang is running two events. One: leave a photo review and save the location on Naver, and you get to try a nostalgic gachapon-style draw. Two: a driving verification review event — confirm your drive to Siyudang via T map and get a madeleine or egg tart. I only did the draw event, but if you're heading to Siyudang, be sure to check in via T map and grab a dessert!!

2nd floor floor seating — great for sitting with a baby

The 2nd floor at Siyudang has floor tables, which makes it great for coming with a young child. That day, every floor table was full of moms with babies, haha.

My little chirper has gotten really good at walking lately, and whenever she sees somewhere she can climb, up she goes... chasing after her these days is exhausting, ugh.

The 3rd floor rooftop atmosphere

The 3rd floor rooftop has wide spacing between tables, so it seems like a spot that would draw couples or families. I actually sat there with my husband before my baby was born — and that was already three years ago...!

While we were looking around, our food came out, so we picked it up on the 1st floor and headed to the floor table on the 2nd floor. Since there was a lot of food, they had a cart ready for moving it, which let us bring everything up in one trip.

Here's the brunch food and drinks we ordered — isn't the presentation gorgeous? At this point my baby is walking, so eating together got a bit tricky... I tried hard to get her to nap, but no luck (she kept dozing off mid-meal, ugh).

The rugola prosciutto pizza grabs you visually right away. It was fresh out of the oven so the taste was guaranteed, and the arugula on top was nice and crisp, pairing really well.

With octopus piled on top of jet-black squid-ink risotto, it catches your eye visually right away too. And the taste was really good!

Americano ₩5,500 and chocolate egg tart

From the review event, we picked the chocolate egg tart, and it paired so well with iced Americano for dessert!
