Cheonan café for chicken steak rosé risotto: Siyudang

Siyudang is a large brunch café located right near Taehaksan.

The address is 99-18 Hyuyangnim-gil, Pungse-myeon, Dongnam-gu, Cheonan-si, Chungcheongnam-do, South Korea (충남 천안시 동남구 풍세면 휴양림길 99-18). It is open daily from 10:00 to 21:00, with last orders at 20:30. With its atmosphere that keeps nature close by, it was somewhere I really wanted to recommend as a driving-route stop, too.

Siyudang spaces with Taehaksan views

There are plenty of outdoor tables, too, so in spring or fall it is lovely to take your time while looking out at the green mountain scenery.

The interior has floor-to-ceiling windows, so it gets wonderful light, and there are floor-seating tables on the second floor. I saw many families visiting with children and using the space comfortably.

With the garden visible outside the windows as well, the space itself felt so restorative~ There is also a photo spot on the top floor, making it great for a family outing.

With a spacious parking lot, elevator, photo-friendly rooftop, and delicious brunch all in one place, I recommend Siyudang if you are looking for a brunch café near Cheonan's Taehaksan. True to a Cheonan brunch café, every dish arrived neatly presented.

Brunch dishes we ordered for a meal

We came for a meal, so we ordered several dishes to share.

Chicken steak rosé risotto

The first dish we tried was the chicken steak rosé risotto! It was the most satisfying dish of this meal.

The rich rosé sauce had soaked moistly into the rice, and it was so delicious with the chicken steak, crisp outside and juicy inside. It was not heavy, and its savory flavor was just right—I cleaned my plate down to the very last spoonful.

Shrimp open sandwich

The shrimp open sandwich, which we ordered to properly set the brunch mood, was satisfying too! Plump shrimp were piled generously on fresh vegetables, making it eye-catching from the start~ One bite brought together the springy shrimp and savory dressing beautifully, and the generous ingredients made it delicious right to the end!

Prosciutto open sandwich

This dish, topped generously with fresh vegetables and tomatoes, made me happy just looking at it. Crisp toasted bread was piled with arugula, prosciutto, tomatoes, and onions. The savory saltiness of the prosciutto came together harmoniously, while the sweet-and-tangy balsamic dressing balanced everything, so it was easy to enjoy without feeling too rich.

A great place for a drive and brunch together

Siyudang is somewhere I would recommend if you are looking for a great brunch spot near Cheonan's Taehaksan. As a large café surrounded by nature, it is ideal for a drive and a place to enjoy delicious brunch in a relaxed atmosphere.

Siyudang has not only plenty of spacious indoor seating but also a beautifully arranged outdoor terrace. In spring and fall, it is truly lovely to have a cup of coffee while taking in Taehaksan's green scenery, and the natural light through the floor-to-ceiling windows made every seat feel restorative! There is a varied brunch menu, making it easy to enjoy a meal and dessert together, and I was pleased with the quality of the bread and drinks, too. It was a Cheonan brunch café that was just right for a weekend outing or date course~
