I visited Siyudang, a brunch café in Pungse, Cheonan! Siyudang is already so well known by word of mouth!! It is a popular brunch café with plenty of room and a famous windmill photo spot.

I could see the scale of Siyudang, this huge café, from afar as I drove over. This Cheonan café caught my eye with its calm, atmospheric all-white look.

From the entrance, Siyudang had that warm, charming café feel. This Cheonan brunch favorite is near the entrance to Taehaksan Natural Recreation Forest, so it is perfect for coffee followed by a stroll around the forest with the people you came with!

There is a large private parking lot in front, so you can visit by car for a weekday lunch or weekend outing without worrying about parking.

At Siyudang, a Cheonan brunch favorite, you can try a wide range of brunch dishes. From a brunch platter with sausage, bacon, and salad to an open shrimp sandwich topped with plump shrimp, some items have specific ordering hours, so keep that in mind! I had been craving pizza for the first time in a while, so I ordered porcini truffle cream risotto, a porcini mushroom salad full of mushroom aroma, and arugula prosciutto pizza.

These were the bakery items I looked over after ordering brunch, and everything looked so delicious that my eyes were darting everywhere! People also say Siyudang is great for coffee as well as brunch. There were so many baked goods that would go perfectly with a cup of coffee.

The baked financiers looked so good, and there was also a menu item called crojji, a meeting of croissants and mochi (chewy rice cake). Mochi with injeolmi (roasted soybean powder)...! It sounds like a bakery item that simply cannot be bad.

There was moist Basque cheesecake and soft whipped-cream cake, too. If you came as a group, I think you could order several kinds of cake and share them.

I had heard Siyudang was known for brunch, but the quality and variety of its bakery breads were no slouch either, so it was very hard to resist, haha. There were crisp palmiers, too—I would believe it if someone told me this was a bakery.

The interior was clean and cozy overall, with modern wood tones. The warm décor made it comfortable to linger, and the tables were spaced far enough apart to enjoy brunch without feeling cramped. There were pretty photo spots throughout, from the first floor to the fourth-floor rooftop :)

One thing I paid especially close attention to when visiting was the spacious floor seating. I came with a baby this time, and it was nice to spread out a blanket and lay the baby down. Each seat had partitions, which also made it feel private. There is even a baby changing table in the second-floor restroom. If you are bringing a baby, you can visit without worry.

And when you think of Siyudang in Cheonan!! The rooftop windmill photo spot is so famous. The weather was lovely and the sun was blazing, but I still got a photo under it too, haha. If you stop by Siyudang, make sure to take one in front of the windmill. It adds a happy memory to the day.

Truffle risotto and arugula prosciutto pizza

After looking around the beautifully decorated café, brunch was served in no time. The salad came with balsamic dressing on the side. There is a self-service pickle station next to the elevator.

This was a creamy risotto gently reduced with truffle oil. The rice and mushrooms had a nice bite, and the cream sauce was so good that I spooned up every last bit.

This wood-fired pizza was baked crisp right to the edge of the crust. It had arugula over homemade ham and tomato basil sauce. Even the crust, not just the center, was delicious, so I could understand why Siyudang is called a brunch favorite—I enjoyed every last bite of pizza.

This was the porcini mushroom salad, full of porcini aroma. Every leaf was fresh with no wilted bits, making the whole meal feel even nicer. Add a salad for an extra touch of freshness.

Next time, I want to come with my family, try more brunch dishes, and order bread and cake too, so we can eat a little of everything at Siyudang. Take photos at the photo spots while you are there and make some memories; if you are looking for a pretty Cheonan brunch café for a family outing or a visit with a baby, I highly recommend Siyudang!!
