Where Kueodeukkutteu is, its hours and parking

Kueodeukkutteu is a brunch restaurant in Haenggung-dong, Suwon, using the 1st and 2nd floors of 54 Sinpung-ro, Paldal-gu. It's open daily from 11:30 to 20:30, last order at 19:30, with no break time.

Parking in front of the restaurant is tricky, so I'd recommend the Jangan-dong public parking lot instead — it's about a 1–2 minute walk away. The Hwaseong Haenggung and Yeonmudae public parking lots nearby are also options. I parked at the Jangan-dong lot, and you can check the parking rate info below ~! It wasn't as cheap as I expected, haha.

Still, since the Suwon Hwaseong Media Art show is on right now, it's handy that the Jangan-dong public parking lot is close to Jangan-mun Gate and Jangan Park, so keep that in mind ~~ It runs from Saturday, September 19, 2026 to Tuesday, October 6, 2026.

A Haenggung-dong brunch before the Hwaseong media art show

Today I went back to Haenggung-dong after a while, partly to catch the Suwon Hwaseong media art show :) I wanted to eat something good before the show, so I visited Kueodeukkutteu. It's close to Jangan-mun Gate, which made it convenient before heading to the Suwon media art show! Jangan-mun Gate, Jangan Park!

Kueodeukkutteu felt less like a typical café and more like a converted house ~~

At Kueodeukkutteu, you order easily using the QR code on the table, and the brunch menu had more variety than I expected. It seemed like a great spot to come for brunch during the day too ~~!

We ordered the Kkoote Steak, Carrot Duck Aglio Olio, and Perilla Oil Ice Cream for dessert.

Since it's a dog-friendly café, they even had a separate cup ready just for dogs to drink water from, haha.

While waiting for the food, I looked around the restaurant and the interior was so pretty.

What is the 2nd-floor terrace seating like?

Since Kueodeukkutteu's restroom is on the 2nd floor, going up I found there's also a terrace up there ~~ There are seats that catch plenty of sunlight, seats that avoid it, and window seats too, so you can pick based on your preference. During the day it's pretty and full of sunshine, and the terrace is nice enough that I think it'd have great atmosphere in the evening too.

How the Kkoote steak and carrot duck aglio olio tasted

For the steak we ordered, they usually serve regular fries, but here they came with sweet potato fries instead ~~ Overall, I liked that a lot of the dishes felt more about letting the ingredients shine than being heavily seasoned ~~

The Carrot Duck Aglio Olio was fresh and delicious too ~~! Honestly, I fell for how pretty all the dishes looked overall.

Dessert: perilla oil ice cream

Last was the perilla oil ice cream ~~ The staff kindly explained in person how to eat it ~~ It was refreshing since it was so different from what I usually eat ☺️

Does Kueodeukkutteu fit a day out in Haenggung-dong?

Haenggung-dong already has so many pretty cafés, but Kueodeukkutteu felt different with its cozy, house-like atmosphere and terrace space. It's such a great spot for photos ~~ If you're looking for a place to grab brunch near Jangan-mun Gate, or planning a Haenggung-dong outing with your dog, this is a place worth checking out. We had a delicious meal and even caught the Suwon Hwaseong media art show afterward, making it a full Haenggung-dong day trip :)
