Had delicious tomato ramen and a pork cutlet set meal at Menya Pomo Seongsu Branch.
Menya Pomo started as a ramen spot in Seoul Forest and Seongsu. They've now opened a branch in Gangnam too, so I'd been curious and finally made it to the Seongsu location.
Where is Menya Pomo Seongsu Branch? Right outside Seongsu Station
Menya Pomo Seongsu Branch is located right in front of Seongsu Station. Nearby is Hearts Bakery, famous for its fruit sando (fruit sandwich), plus lots of pop-up stores, making this a perfect date-course stop.

This is Menya Pomo's beef cutlet tomato ramen set, a Seongsu favorite. You can pick different side options for an extra charge — I skipped extra toppings and chose basil risotto rice instead of salad.
Menya Pomo's tomato ramen has adjustable spice levels. I went with level 1, right around Shin Ramyun spice.
Toppings on Menya Pomo's tomato ramen include minced pork crumbles, scallions, onion, and egg, plus the beef cutlet on top.
The noodles are thin ramen strands that soak up the broth well, keeping the noodles' savory flavor alive.
The tangy tomato base has deep umami — an addictive ramen. The tomato acidity blends really well with the broth, making the soup incredibly delicious.
The beef mince cutlet is fried right when ordered, so the crispiness holds up. The karaage side is also juicy and delicious.
