Farm-themed Haeundae restaurant, no weekend lunch wait: Smith's Farm
In short
Smith's Farm is a farm-themed Western restaurant near Dongbaek Station in Haeundae, Busan. Arriving before the weekend lunch peak meant no wait at Smith's Farm, where the Margherita pizza and shrimp oil pasta arrived at a table in a dining room that runs from 4-person tables to wide group seating for family meals and gatherings. The pizza poured cheese like a waterfall and the oil pasta came loaded with shrimp, and both were satisfying.

Today I visited a Haeundae Western restaurant I'd wanted to try for ages, and both the concept and the food were so satisfying that I have to tell you about it.

Where is Smith's Farm, and is there parking?
This Haeundae Western restaurant is located 6 minutes from Dongbaek Station, near Haerim Elementary School.

There's a bus stop just a minute's walk away and the subway is nearby too, so it's convenient by public transit — but Smith's Farm also has its own parking lot, so driving over was really easy as well.

Was there a wait for weekend lunch at Smith's Farm?
Even though it was the weekend, I'd heard this popular Haeundae restaurant gets a wait during peak hours, so we went a bit early — and luckily got seated right away with no wait at all.
The inside of this Haeundae Western restaurant is really spacious and has great atmosphere. It's decorated cutely with a farm concept, so it looked like a great spot to bring kids for a family meal.

Seating at Smith's Farm: 4-person tables to group tables
The spacious hall has everything from 4-person tables to large group tables, so it looked good for friend hangouts or dates, and honestly perfect for group gatherings or family dinners.

We went hoping for a quick lunch, but true to its popularity, the place was packed with customers.

Exploring the interior of Smith's Farm was fun in itself! The carrot decor was so cute haha.

What's on the menu at Smith's Farm?
True to a Western restaurant, Smith's Farm's menu ranges from soups and salads to gnocchi and risotto, pilaf and pasta, pizza, and steak, plus desserts and coffee — so you can even stay for dessert instead of moving on afterward. They also serve wine, so it's a good spot for dinner and drinks together.
Margherita Pizza / Shrimp Oil Pasta

Margherita pizza with cheese pouring like a waterfall
We love Western food so much that we always order Margherita and oil pasta whenever we come to a place like this. The pizza arrived first, and it looked absolutely delicious just visually!

It came with a sauce that was great for dipping, and the pizza was finished with a drizzle of oil on top, so the aroma was fantastic too.

What really surprised me was this — do you see how the cheese pours down like a waterfall?! The second it arrived, this amazing savory cheese smell hit me, and I realized why — they really don't hold back on the cheese!! Cheese lovers, I'm so happy haha.

I quickly tried the cheese-pouring Margherita pizza at Smith's Farm and... wow, it's genuinely insane! I almost regretted not coming here sooner. The tomato sauce and savory cheese filled my mouth, and the chewy dough was amazing too. There's clearly a reason this place is always packed.

Shrimp oil pasta packed with shrimp and vegetables
Next up was our shrimp oil pasta! It's an oil pasta with plump shrimp, roasted garlic, garlic scapes, zucchini, and even lemon zest.
What's especially great is that, fitting the restaurant's name, the pasta was packed with vegetables — nutritionally perfect too, haha! Tossed really well too!

When I tried it, the noodles were cooked to just the right texture, and the sauce was delicious with none of the usual greasiness of oil pasta. The pizza here is great, but the pasta is just as amazing!

There were so many plump shrimp in it that my husband and I had nothing to fight over. I love shrimp so much that when a pasta place only gives 2-3 shrimp, we end up arguing because I eat them all haha. But Smith's Farm has so much shrimp that we could share peacefully haha.

The garlic roasted in the oil dressing was really delicious too!! Great atmosphere, even better food — this is a Haeundae Western restaurant I'd love to visit again, and I highly recommend giving it a try.
