The two of us went to Yugwanjang Banjeom Omokgyo Station Branch (유관장반점 오목교역직영점) in Omokgyo for Chinese food. I had been a little concerned about the food and cleanliness because I heard it was open 24 hours, but the interior was clean when we went in. We had a filling meal of jjampong, jajangmyeon, and mini tangsuyuk.
Is it close to Omokgyo Station, and is it open 24 hours every day?
The restaurant is on the second floor at 256 Mokdongdong-ro, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul, near Exit 2 of Omokgyo Station. Since it is close to the station, it seemed like a convenient place to stop by before or after meeting someone.
The hours listed in the original post are 00:00–21:00 on Monday, 10:30–24:00 on Tuesday, and 24 hours from Wednesday through Sunday. Since Monday and Tuesday have different hours and schedules may change, it would be best to check in advance when visiting late at night or early in the morning.

What are the window seats and family dining area like?
The interior felt bright and calm. I saw families and couples, and the tables and seats were spacious enough that dining with a child also looked comfortable.

From the window seat where I sat, I could see trees just outside. It felt relaxing to look at the greenery while eating.

Additional side dishes are self-service. The self-service station was neatly arranged, so it was easy to take as much as we needed.

How much does jjampong, jajangmyeon, and tangsuyuk cost for two?
There were many meal and shared dishes, so I spent a while deciding what to order. We chose the jjin sagol seafood jjampong, marked as a popular item on the menu, along with jajangmyeon and mini tangsuyuk.

- Mini tangsuyuk: ₩13,000
- Jjin sagol seafood jjampong: ₩11,000
- Jajangmyeon: ₩8,000
- Order total: ₩32,000
With one noodle dish each and mini tangsuyuk to share, the amount was enough for two. For me, the price also felt reasonable for how full we were after eating.
The complimentary side dishes were zhàcài and danmuji. I liked that the side dishes were served neatly as well.

How much mini tangsuyuk do you get, and does it stay crisp?
The first dish to arrive was the mini tangsuyuk. Despite the name, the portion felt generous.

The two of us ate it with the other meal dishes and felt full, and I think three people could share it if there were other dishes as well.

I do not usually have a strong preference between pouring sauce over tangsuyuk and dipping it. Here, I liked that the coating stayed crisp all the way through instead of turning soggy, even when eaten with the sauce.

How was the jajangmyeon with the tangsuyuk?
My companion ordered the jajangmyeon. I do not usually like jajangmyeon that much, but there was a fair amount of meat, and the sweet-and-salty sauce went well with the noodles, so I kept reaching for it. It also paired well with the tangsuyuk.

Since you can choose familiar dishes such as jajangmyeon, jjampong, and tangsuyuk together, it also seemed like a good place for a family to come and share. I felt that the roomy seating and clean interior suited a family meal.

What are the broth and toppings like in the jjin sagol seafood jjampong?
The smoky wok aroma came through first in the jjin sagol seafood jjampong. There was a generous amount of meat, seafood, and vegetables, and the portion was large.

The broth was rich and hot without feeling heavy or chalky. It was especially good with the noodles and toppings together, and taking a sip of the jjampong broth after a bite of crisp tangsuyuk was a good combination too.

This time, we chose three familiar dishes, and I enjoyed all of them. When I crave Chinese food late at night, I would like to come back after checking the hours. Next time, I would like to try another jjampong or one of the shared dishes.
