There are so many pretty cafés in Yeonnam-dong that it's hard to decide where to go, but Jam Jam felt a little different from the cafés trending these days, which made it more fun. It's full of a retro yet hip vibe! ✨

The moment I stepped into Jam Jam, I felt something both familiar and special. The whole place has a retro feel, but it's decorated in a hip way rather than a dated one, so it was fun just wandering around and looking at everything.

Instead of just sitting at the table waiting for drinks, you end up walking around going "oh this spot is pretty too!" "gotta take a photo here too!" haha

So naturally I ended up taking photos all over the place too 📸🤎

Lately I've been really into hunting down pretty cafés, and I loved that Jam Jam is a café where you can enjoy browsing the space itself, not just the food and drinks.

And here's a part I quietly appreciated! At Jam Jam, the restroom is located inside the store. 👏🏻 At a lot of cafés and restaurants, the restroom is outside or you have to walk somewhere else, but here it's right inside, so it was convenient to use.

This might seem like a small thing, but it really matters when you're staying at a café for a long time, haha. I thought it made for a comfortable space to enjoy brunch, chat at leisure, and spend some time.

Jam Jam isn't just a café that sells drinks and desserts. Quite a few people were there for meals, and the menu ranged from brunch to pasta. So it seemed like a good spot whether you're just dropping by for coffee and dessert, or coming for a proper meal.

That day we were craving something sweet rather than a meal, so we ordered drinks and pancakes. 🥞💗

That day at Jam Jam, we ordered three things: green grape ade, fresh strawberry milk, and the original pancakes!

We started with the drinks — the green grape ade was refreshing and cool, and it went well with the sweet pancakes. 🍇

And the fresh strawberry milk had a nice sweet strawberry flavor, smooth and easy to drink. 🍓🥛 Both drinks paired really well with the pancakes!

And now for the main event of the day, Jam Jam's original pancakes! They were soft and fluffy, and honestly so good. 🥹🤎

But the most fun part while eating was that the sauce served with the pancakes was a bit unusual! It felt a little different from what you'd typically expect with pancakes, so it was fun trying them together. The pancakes themselves were delicious, but eating them with the sauce brought out a whole different flavor, so we kept mixing and matching as we ate. 🤭
