I recently got wedding nails done, but ugh, wedding nails get old so fast...

I wanted to switch up my nails before heading off on my honeymoon, just for a fresh feeling, so I went!

How to get to Byuazeu Hongdae, and where to park

Byuazeu is close to Hongik University Station, so it's a great pick if you want a Hongdae nail salon that's easy to reach by public transit!

It's about a 5-minute walk from Exit 9 of Hongik University Station — go straight toward the main Hongdae street, then turn into the alley!

Since it's right in the middle of Hongdae, personally I think taking the subway is way more convenient than driving :)

If you do drive, note that the shop itself doesn't have parking, so you'll need to use a nearby public lot or Hongik University's parking lot!

Once inside, the space felt more well-organized than I expected :)

In the nail treatment area there were tons of color and art samples ready, so it was fun just picking a design haha

There was a wide variety of nail options lined up along the walls and display shelves, so it felt like colors could easily be adjusted too! It was helpful to browse while thinking about what style I usually like!! What I really liked was that Byuazeu isn't just a nail shop — it's a total beauty shop where you can get several treatments in one space!

Nail art, lash lift, pedicare, and skincare are all available in one place, so you don't need to book separately all over town — you can get multiple treatments done here,

and there were quite a lot of people coming with friends too!

There are drinks ready in the waiting area too!

Byuazeu Hongdae's monthly art starts from ₩49,000, and I went with the ₩79,000 ribbon art haha! There's also a free removal coupon for nails done at other shops, so grab one!!

I was done by teacher Hanseul, and her hands were seriously so fast, I was amazed!!

My hands were so dry, can you see the cracked skin and broken nail? T_T (look how it changes after!)

The white color wasn't a stark bright white, but had a slightly milky feel, so it blended naturally with my skin tone, and the subtle pink pearl mixed in caught the light and shimmered — the whole vibe subtly shifted every time I moved my hands, it was so pretty :)

There's a little pink ribbon popping up, but it's not too big or overwhelming, and it matched the overall nail color really well, giving it a cute accent point!!

I took photos right after leaving in natural sunlight! It was pretty indoors too, but the pearl shimmer really comes alive under the sun!!

I think this would look great as wedding or travel nails, but it's also not too much for wearing to the office, so anyone looking for daily-wear nails would probably love it too!
