I switched up my nails for autumn, you guys? I'd been obsessed with magnetic gel for a while but changed to a nude tone this time — it's got such a vibe, I love it so much haha ㅠㅠ

This was my first time getting a French manicure, and it turned out so so pretty that I was super satisfied. Let me write up the full review below!!

📍 Byuazeu Hongdae Nail, Lashes & Skincare is at 19 Hongik-ro 2-gil, 1st floor, Mapo-gu, Seoul, about a 4–5 minute walk from Exit 9 of Hongik University Station. It's open daily 11:00–21:00, reservations are possible, and there's no parking.

Getting to Byuazeu from Exit 9 of Hongik University Station

Byuazeu Beauty is really close to Exit 9 of Hongik University Station!! It's near a crepe place I love, so after my nails were done... haha, of course I went to get a crepe haha. Anyway, it's a super convenient walking distance from the station.

Inside Byuazeu: the salon space and atmosphere

This is the inside of the salon!! They have so many nail colors haha. I was so happy about that. A nail shop with a huge color selection is the best.

I walked into the shop and there was this cute dog there ㅠㅠ (so sweet). It was so gentle I just stared at it for a while... haha

This is where you get your pedicure done!

This is where you get gel nails done. There's room for two people to sit side by side, so it'd be fine to come with a friend too?

This is where you get skin and facial care. It's set up privately, so it's a comfortable space to get treatments. (There's a price list next to it too, take a look haha)

There's also a proper waiting area, so no worries if you arrive early or come with company.

There's a separate space to hang your coat or bag, so no need to worry about dust getting on them during gel removal haha.

Before and after: the nude French and dot accent step by step

First, here are my nails before the treatment. My nails had gotten pretty long, so it really was time for a change?

They removed it fast with no damage. Her hands were so quick, I loved it ㅠㅠ

After removing the gel and shaping the nails, I wanted a nude tone as the base, so I was picking out a color haha. So many colors to choose from.

After shaping, towel time! I love towel time so much. It's such a healing moment ㅠ

I asked for a ballerina shape, and she nailed it in one go. This place is a shape master!!!!

Testing colors here — since I like nude tones, the color she recommended was the one on my fourth finger... haha, and that's the one I went with!!

Here's the finished gel nails! I went with a nude tone for autumn, and it had such a vibe, so pretty ㅠㅠ This French tip was so pretty too... This was my first French manicure, but it's such a great accent and gives off a grown-up woman feel, I love it so much haha.

Instead of French tips on one nail, I added a dot accent instead, and it turned out so so pretty ㅠㅠ
