Today I visited Jsu Beauty Eyelash & Nail, Seomyeon Branch in Jeonpo, Seomyeon! As someone with monolid eyes, lashes are basically my lifeline, so I always pay a lot of attention to them. Mascara alone often feels like something's missing, and doing eyelash curler plus mascara every day is a hassle, so I get eyelash extensions monthly. But it's surprisingly hard to find a place I really love ㅠㅠ So I'd been wandering around like an eyelash extension nomad, until this visit to Jsu Beauty made me think I could finally settle down here. Jsu Beauty Eyelash & Nail Seomyeon Branch is located in Seomyeon, Busan. It's near the intersection with the old Jeonpo NC Department Store, right next to Seomyeon Milmyeon, so it's easy to find. Even on my first visit I found it without any trouble haha. Location accessibility: great 👍

Lashes and nails in one salon: inside Jsu Beauty

Walking inside, the space felt clean and tidy. Since they do nails as well as lashes, there was a nail area set up inside too, and as I passed by I got a peek at the nail art designs — lots of trendy, pretty work. I thought next time I might get eyelash extensions and nails together!! No need to hunt for a separate lash shop and nail shop — being able to handle it all at Jsu Beauty seems convenient and nice 🤭

Curl and length consultation for monolid eyes, step by step

My lashes were left sparse and messy haha. First I told them the lash style I wanted and we did a consultation. Because I have monolid eyes, if the lashes droop too much or the curl is off, my eyes tend to look heavy and dull, so I wanted a look that suited monolids well while still making my eyes look clear. Once I explained the curl and length I wanted, they designed it naturally to match my eye shape 😍

I also liked that they put eye patches under my eyes during the procedure haha.

I really do have monolid eyes where lashes are everything, and this time the result came out exactly the look I wanted, so I loved it 🥹 With the lashes brought to life clearly, my eyes looked much more defined too, and it felt like there was a focal point even without heavy makeup!

What I especially wanted wasn't an overly heavy, over-applied look, but something that suited my eyes naturally while still clearly showing off the lashes — and it came out exactly as I'd imagined, which was satisfying. Usually even after getting extensions I'd think, "hmm... something's a little off," but this time I liked what I saw every time I looked in the mirror ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
