Jeonpo-dong pizza joint in Busan: mozzarella sticks at Freewill Pizza
In short
Freewill Pizza is a pizza restaurant in Jeonpo-dong, Busanjin-gu, Busan, about a 7-minute walk from Jeonpo Station. The order this visit was the half-and-half large set, split between the signature Freewill pizza and hot chicken shrimp, with whole mozzarella cheese sticks as the side — crisp outside with a long cheese pull. From the pizza to the sides, Freewill Pizza never misses, which is why it keeps earning another return visit.

What does Freewill Pizza in Jeonpo look like inside and out?

Freewill Pizza is about a 7-minute walk from Jeonpo Station, and there are plenty of cafés nearby, so it's a great pizza spot for a lunch date. There's also outdoor seating, making it perfect for pizza and a beer in the evening ⋆。˚ 🍻

The interior has a wood finish with generally dim lighting overall, so it felt calm and easy to talk in.

The walls are covered in framed pictures, which added to the cozy mood! The restroom is inside too, so it's easy to use.
Freewill Pizza's menu and the set we ordered

Freewill sells six kinds of pizza in total: Egg Potato, Freewill Pizza, Hot Chicken Shrimp, Hawaiian, Bulgogi, and Pepperoni. Sizes come in R and L — the R set is plenty for two people!
Leftover pizza can be packed to go, so if you love pizza, I'd recommend ordering the large set and taking home whatever's left.
This time we ordered the half-and-half large + 1 side + 2 sodas set. For pizza we chose Freewill and Hot Chicken Shrimp, and for the side we picked whole mozzarella cheese sticks.

There's hot sauce at every table, so you can help yourself easily.

After ordering, they bring over house-made garlic sauce, house-made pickles, and plates. Even the wet wipes had 'Freewill' printed on them, which was a cute touch!
Why the whole mozzarella cheese sticks are the side to order

The first side to arrive was the whole mozzarella cheese sticks. On my last visit I ordered the baby cabbage salad instead, so I never got to try these — I was so curious and looking forward to it this time!

The whole mozzarella cheese sticks are stuffed full of mozzarella inside a crispy fried shell. The outside was so crunchy and delicious 🥺 The baby cabbage salad I had last time was great too — honestly, everything at Freewill is good, from pizza to sides.

The cheese pull was seriously long. The fried coating has a slight kick, and that bold flavor was so, so good ㅠㅠㅠ The cheese is packed in so generously that the gooey, chewy bite was amazing.
It's also great dipped in the ranch sauce that comes alongside. Highly recommend as a side • • ❤︎
Half-and-half large: Freewill pizza plus hot chicken shrimp

For the half-and-half large, we split it between the signature Freewill pizza and the popular Hot Chicken Shrimp. I've had the Egg Potato before and it was great too — since I'm trying to work my way through every menu item at Freewill, I went with a new pizza for the other half this time.

Here's why the pizza here can't help but be delicious
- They don't skimp at all on cheese or toppings
- The dough is made in-house and aged for a long time — genuinely crisp outside, chewy inside
- It pairs beautifully with the house-made garlic sauce

The Freewill pizza is the restaurant's signature combination pizza topped with pepperoni, bacon, sausage, and various vegetables — the first bite always feels like a little moment of joy every time I have it.

The Hot Chicken Shrimp comes mainly topped with spicy chicken, plump shrimp, and corn. It was my first time trying it, and the mild spiciness lingering on my tongue was exactly my style — a flavor I'd want again 🦐

The garlic sauce and pickles are both house-made too, and they're really something 🥹🥹 I've never left crust behind here — the chewy dough plus garlic sauce combo is so good that refilling on sauce is a must •••🤍

We asked to pack up 2 slices, and they sent them off in a paper bag stamped with a cute logo!
This is one of the few pizza places I genuinely love, so if you're looking for a real pizza gem in Busan, definitely check out Freewill Pizza near Jeonpo Station ₊˚⊹🍕
