I've been getting really into nails lately haha. I've lived my whole life without ever wearing a single coat of nail polish, and suddenly I got curious... lol. So I looked around here and there and found a decent-looking place in Seomyeon! After some back and forth, I booked the earliest available slot and went to check it out.

Walking from Seomyeon Station Exit 10 to Jsu Beauty
I came by subway. You come out of Seomyeon Station Exit 10, walk straight ahead, cross one crosswalk, and it's right there. It's about a 5-minute walk from Exit 10, so it was close by. The shop is on the 2nd floor.
What the Jsu Beauty Seomyeon shop feels like inside
Jsu Beauty Seomyeon has separate spaces for lash treatments and nail services. Going up to the 2nd floor and stepping inside, the interior was clean and well put together, which I liked. The spaces are nicely divided so you can get your treatment in a comfortable atmosphere!

Since it was my first time getting nails done, I felt like something simple would suit me better than something flashy. The night before, I looked through reference photos, went back and forth... and landed on this color! It's the Jennie nail, and this mint shade was just so pretty haha. I figured something soft would be nicer than a really vivid color, so I went with this.

And here's the finished look! Satisfied with my first nail set haha. I think I like it even more because the color is so subtle. Since it was a one-color design, the treatment wrapped up faster than I expected. It took about 30 minutes, and the owner doing my nails made me feel comfortable the whole time, so it went really well.
I'm a total 'nail beginner' who has never worn polish before, so I was a little awkward and unsure what style to go for, but the owner carefully checked the condition of my nails and asked if I had any reference photos or designs in mind, so I could chat comfortably while getting it done haha. Throughout the treatment she was gentle, careful, and thorough, which left me really satisfied!
After the finished nail care, my fingertips looked so much cleaner and neater that I kept glancing down at my hands haha. I finally get why everyone keeps going back for regular nail appointments! I'm really looking forward to seeing how long it lasts too haha.
