I always want my hair to look calm and tidy, but it gets frizzy over time and styling it is kind of a hassle. My bangs especially would go flat without volume, so this time I got both a full straight perm and bangs volume done together. Let's get into my visit to Billogeu Hair in Yeonji-dong, Busan!

Billogeu Hair is located at 35 Seongji-ro, 1st floor, Busanjin-gu (30-11 Yeonji-dong), Busan, South Korea. Hours are 10:00–19:00, closed every Monday. For parking, they'll direct you to a nearby alternative lot, the National Gugak Center Busan parking lot (free).

What the inside of Billogeu Hair feels like

Walking into the salon, it had a clean, comfortable vibe. Going to get your hair done can be a bit nerve-wracking, but a comfortable interior puts you at ease during the treatment. This time I stayed for quite a long while for the straight perm, and I was able to get through it comfortably without any discomfort.

Is Billogeu Hair's price list reasonable?

I was genuinely surprised looking at Billogeu Hair's price list!!! The prices were so nice~ These days when you go get your hair done you usually have to brace yourself for ₩150,000-200,000 as a baseline, but Billogeu Hair offers cuts, coloring, straight perms, and perms at reasonable prices 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

How the full magic straight perm and bangs volume were done

I had a consultation with the stylist before the treatment, and she checked my hair really thoroughly. I told her I wanted my overall hair to look calm and tidy, and that I hoped my bangs would get a natural volume lift. It was great that she talked through the treatment direction while checking my hair condition.

After checking my hair condition, she carried out the straight perm carefully, step by step.

A straight perm involves treating hair with chemicals and using heat to smooth it out, so I think it's important that it's done according to your hair's condition. This time too, I felt the stylist was being very meticulous with my hair. I especially appreciated that instead of rushing through just one section, she made sure the whole head turned out evenly calm and tidy. Her hands were incredibly fast too 💯💯💯💯

She also styled my bangs carefully to match the look I wanted!

During the treatment I had tea and snacks while chatting with the stylist about various things, and the small talk was so fun I lost track of time haha

Can you see the difference between before and after? The before photo is right after just shampooing, and once it dried it was so frizzy and crazy curly;;; Comparing before and after, the first thing I noticed was that my hair overall looked calm and tidy. It reduced that frizzy, spread-out feeling and I loved how naturally it fell.

After the straight perm, my hair was calm and neatly arranged overall. It was exactly the calmness I wanted, so I loved it!!! Thank you so much, teacher~~~~
