It's been two years since I last got a lash perm... haha. Even when I curl my lashes with a lash curler while doing makeup, it just doesn't hold, and losing my precious lashes in the process makes me so sad.
So I decided to finally get a lash perm again!! I happened to have plans with friends in Seomyeon that day, so after a storm of searching I decided to try Double D in Jeonpo, which people said does great lash perms in the Seomyeon/Jeonpo area haha.
In the past I never even thought about glue vs. no-glue, but this time I went with a no-glue perm since it carries less risk of glue allergies.
Where is Double D in Jeonpo, and what are the hours?
Double D is on the 2nd floor at 17 Jeonpo-daero 275beon-gil, Busanjin-gu, Busan, and it's open 10:00–21:00, closed on Sundays. There's no parking on site, so you'll need to use a nearby paid lot, and there's no parking support. Naver Reservations are available.
The address technically falls near Jeonpo Station, but it's actually a short walk from Bujeon Station.
It's located on the 2nd floor of the building. It's not far from Bujeon subway station at all — a very close walk, which I loved. There's also an elevator~~👍

Inside Double D: the waiting area and training room
You change into indoor slippers before entering, and the interior is super spacious and clean!
The waiting area is plenty spacious too, and it's stylishly decorated in every corner.
This looks like it's for training sessions? Apparently Double D gets visitors not just from around Busan but from Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, the US and various other countries and regions for both training and treatments!
The director's career spans a whopping 14 years..! While booking, I noticed she does eyebrow consulting and image consulting too, not just lashes..!
Consultation for a natural curl and the no-glue pure perm
This is the treatment space. Before the procedure I had a short design consultation with the director. I told her I wanted a natural-looking lift rather than a tightly curled one.
Double D says they don't just apply whatever design is trending — they aim for a natural result that fits each customer's individual face proportions and vibe!

The treatment bed was more comfortable than at other places, so I actually drifted into a light sleep during the treatment😴. It took about 1 hour! I really appreciated how the director kept things comfortable and checked in on me now and then to make sure nothing felt off haha.
They use a no-glue perm, skip speed perming solutions, and instead use a nourishing treatment the director has personally tested and verified countless times — the curl is said to last 4–5 weeks.
Before and after: how did the sparse lashes turn out?
Before
Bare eyes before the lash perm ~~ sparse and droopy lashes 🤢🤢 You know how even with a lash curler they just droop right back down.
After
My lashes are especially sparse, but she lifted every single one without missing a spot!! She also applied a nourishing treatment and set the direction of the lashes. Especially at the inner corners and outer tails, which are easy spots to miss, everything lifted up neatly — I was extremely satisfied👍
I have a black nourishing treatment at home, and just applying that instead of mascara makes my eyes look defined! Even bare-faced it somehow feels put-together, and using a lash curler afterward is easiest of all!! Combing your lashes with a lash comb regularly also helps the curl last longer, so I've been carrying a comb around and using it often.
Price of the Signature Pure Perm and final verdict
I got the Signature Pure Perm (₩45,000), and since the director also does eyebrow consulting, she even tidied up my messy eyebrows!!👍👍👍 She handles lash perms, eyebrow consulting, and lash extensions, so I'd recommend trusting her with it.
It's also close to Seomyeon and Jeonpo, so it's a super convenient spot to stop by before or after plans nearby! Especially nice being so close to the subway station haha. Once the curl fades, I'm definitely coming back✨
