Daily Fix Gangnam Main Branch: hunting for hand-made burgers on a weekend evening

Today I'm telling you about a visit to 'Daily Fix,' a Yeoksam Station favorite and a great Gangnam burger spot for a beer.

On a weekend evening, craving a good hand-made burger, I headed to Daily Fix!

How far from Yeoksam Station, and where to park

Daily Fix Gangnam Main Branch is 460m from Yeoksam Station Exit 3, located between Gangnam Station and Yeoksam Station. If you're driving, use the Pureunsol Library parking lot — the first 60 minutes are ₩3,600, then ₩300 per additional 5 minutes, capped at ₩30,000.

But honestly, Daily Fix is really a place with a vibe that's perfect for a beer, you know? I'd recommend leaving the car and walking over instead, to fully enjoy the atmosphere haha.

Indoors with the folding doors open, dog-friendly outdoor tables

Warm wood tones blend with a modern feel inside. With the folding doors open, the view was wide and open and the atmosphere was really nice. And no wait at all on a weekend evening!

There are tables outside too, perfect for eating al fresco on a cool evening like these. Dogs are welcome outside too, and there were some pups out there >_< Choi settled into a seat further inside for the dogs' sake. One side has good seating for groups, and there's also a spot that's nice for solo diners.

What we ordered and the price

Choi's pick Double Cheeseburger Set ₩20,800 (fries + Sprite) Chicken Burger Set ₩16,800 (fries + Coke Zero)

Choi had tried the signature bacon cheeseburger last time, so this time went for the chicken burger. You could choose thick-cut or regular fries — we picked regular for both!

After a short wait, our order arrived. The cups are cute and the burgers look great too.

Chicken burger — thick chicken thigh meat and spicy coleslaw

First up is Choi's pick, the chicken burger. The chicken is bigger and thicker than at any other burger place I've had.

Inside was a spicy coleslaw. Plain coleslaw might've felt a bit plain, but the spice made it even tastier.

So thick it barely cut with a knife.

The batter looks so crispy too, right? The ingredients aren't super varied, but the main ones are all big and generous.

You could hear the crunch on the first bite — truly crispy — and the chicken thigh meat was so tender and delicious.

The combo of tender chicken thigh and spicy coleslaw was the best in this chicken burger! If you prefer chicken over a beef patty, I highly recommend it.

Double cheeseburger — grilled onions are the kicker

Next up is my boyfriend's pick, the double cheeseburger. Cheese dripping down — definitely lives up to the 'double cheese' name^^

The bun and patty were soft and cut through smoothly.

Being a double cheeseburger, the cheese flavor was rich and savory, and the patty was clean with no gamey taste and really tasty. But the real kicker was the grilled onions. Their fragrance added to the savoriness — genuinely delicious!

How much fries do you get?

The fries were exactly my style thickness-wise. Straight out of the fryer and warm, they tasted even better.

Dipped in ketchup, they're even more sweet-and-tangy. A little salty, and you just keep eating more and more. The portion was bigger than expected, so ordering one set left us fully, happily stuffed.

The vibe gets even better after 7pm

Once it hit 7pm and got dark outside, Daily Fix's atmosphere got even better ✨ My boyfriend and I aren't great drinkers so we enjoyed the mood with cola, but I saw plenty of people sipping beers around us. Great vibe!
