I went to have tori paitan ramen at Oreno Ramen Gangnam, a Michelin-favorite spot near Gangnam Station! It is an easy walk from Gangnam and Sinnonhyeon stations, and the roomy interior felt good for eating alone or coming with a group. The deeply rich broth and wonderfully soft noodles were sooo good.

Oreno Ramen Gangnam location and visitor information
It is on the second floor of Seongeun Building at 28-9 Teheran-ro 1-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, South Korea. It is about a four-minute walk (264 m) from Exit 11 of Gangnam Station; head to the alley behind CGV where Ttamtam Pho is, then go up to the second floor of the building with Tteokdoritang on the first floor.
For parking, use a nearby paid lot; I recommend Yeoksam Cultural Park No. 1 Public Parking Lot. It is open daily from 11:00 to 20:30, with last orders at 20:00, and I heard it has operated without a break time since May 1.

Ordering tori paitan and assorted tsukune
There are two menu options: the rich, nutty tori paitan made with chicken as its main ingredient for ₩13,000, and kara paitan, which adds a spicy kick, also for ₩13,000. Once inside, you order at the kiosk.

There are only two ramen choices. With so few items, it somehow felt like they must really know what they are doing...?! I ordered one tori paitan and one assorted tsukune, then went in haha.
Counter seats for solo diners and group tables
Inside Oreno Ramen Gangnam, a Michelin ramen spot near Gangnam Station

Inside, there were counter seats that were comfortable for solo diners, as well as group tables where several people could sit together.

It looked like there could be quite a wait at meal times. Maybe that is why there were chairs set out too haha.

There were pickles at the table, plus cold water and hair ties. Such thoughtful touches, hehe.
Rich chicken-broth tori paitan
What I ordered Tori paitan Assorted tsukune

The assorted tsukune and tori paitan I ordered arrived! Maybe because the broth was so rich, even its aroma was seriously something as it was served...

The ramen arrived bubbling hot...! At first I could not quite tell because of all the fluffy foam on top, but wow, this broth was truly rich?!
I thought it would go so well with rice, and at Oreno Ramen Gangnam, noodles, broth, and a bowl of rice are all free! You can get refills. Rice is one thing, but free noodle and broth refills too? Is that not basically another free bowl~~! I saw someone seated far away get a noodle refill, and it looked like nearly a whole bowl of noodles came back out haha. If you want to eat ramen until you are full, go go to Oreno Ramen Gangnam..~

The wood ear mushrooms on top were tender and tasty, and the soft-boiled egg was smooth, nutty, and lovely too!

As you would expect from ramen flavored with chicken broth, there was a generous amount of chicken breast on top too. This was not that dry chicken breast you eat when dieting—it was moist, tender, soft chicken breast! Haha.

Soft, tender assorted tsukune
Time to try the tsukune too haha. Tsukune are Japanese chicken meatballs, and the inside was soft and delicious!

They held lots of moisture, so they were soft without any dryness—so tender they practically fell apart... I loved that you could eat them with just your gums haha.

Oreno Ramen Gangnam's tori paitan was great with noodles and chicken together, or soaked generously in the broth and eaten in one big bite.

Oreno Ramen Gangnam was close to Gangnam Station for easy access, and comfortable whether dining alone or visiting with several people! The rich, nutty chicken broth in the tori paitan really stood out. Although the broth was quite intense, the chicken breast and tsukune were soft, so it was delicious without feeling heavy. Plus, free refills of noodles, broth, and rice make it a great option for anyone wanting a satisfying bowl of ramen haha.
