Songpa cocktail bar with unlimited cocktails: B-LAB Jamsil Bangi

In short

B-LAB Jamsil Bangi is a cocktail bar in Bangi Food Alley, Songpa, Seoul. For 19,800 won per person including VAT, we ordered cocktails one at a time with no time limit, brought in Kyochon Chicken, and played board games for ages. Verdict: a fantastic pick if you want total freedom over your snacks, haha.

B-LAB Jamsil Bangi main image

I was looking for somewhere to drink in Bangi-dong and went to B-LAB Jamsil Bangi (비랩 잠실방이점). No, but what even is this place, seriously hahaha. Unlimited cocktails for ₩19,800 per person, with no time limit either!!!!

Unlimited cocktail information

And that price includes VAT. First shock right there. But then I got there and found out: outside food allowed, no bringing-in fee, plates and cutlery provided, free board games, and they even sell Hangang ramyeon. Owner, are you actually making any money here???? Hahahaha.

A clean, hip atmosphere worthy of a brand-new spot

B-LAB Jamsil Bangi is a newly opened place, so the first thing I thought when I walked in was, wow, it’s clean!!!! You know how unlimited-drinks places can feel loud, with sticky tables and all that? None of that here!!!! The lighting is pretty, the interior is hip, and it has exactly the kind of vibe that works for hanging out with friends or for a date, haha. If you’re looking for a good cocktail bar in Bangi-dong, I absolutely recommend it..

Honestly, I expected it to feel like a budget drinking spot when I saw the price, but once I got there I was like, “Huh? This is just a cocktail bar with great vibes???” hahaha. The photos come out well, the cocktails are all so colorful, and the table looks amazing.

Why it works for both first and second rounds in Bangi Food Alley

B-LAB Jamsil Bangi is tucked inside Bangi Food Alley. You can walk there from Jamsil Station, and it’s perfect for moving on after a first round in Bangi-dong. But here’s the truly great part: you don’t even have to eat somewhere else first hahaha. Why? Because you can bring your own snacks in~~~~

Takeout Kyochon Chicken and cocktails: the combo

Takeout chicken and cocktails

We just picked up takeout Kyochon Chicken and brought it in hahaha. I mean, how can Kyochon go this well with cocktails? One sip of a sweet cocktail, one bite of salty Kyochon, and that was it, honestly hahahaha.

Even better, there’s no fee for bringing outside food!!!! No corkage-type charge or anything; just bring it and eat. They even provide cutlery and plates. I loved that so much. Usually, when you buy food elsewhere, you have to think, “What about plates?” or “Do I need to bring chopsticks?” Here, you only need to carry in the food and you’re done hahaha. The owner has everything ready. There’s so much food in Bangi Food Alley. At this point, the menu is basically all of Bangi-dong hahaha.

Resetting the sweetness with Hangang ramyeon

They even sell Hangang ramyeon, hahaha. I seriously loved this. After several cocktails, no matter how good they are, a little sweetness starts to linger in your mouth, right? Then one bite of hot Hangang ramyeon clears it all away!!!! We had some in the middle, and wow, it was genuinely a genius move. Kyochon, cocktails, more cocktails, then a sip of ramyeon broth~~~~ and back to cocktails hahaha. Infinite loop possible.

Unlimited cocktails for ₩19,800, with no time limit

This is honestly the biggest cheat code. Unlimited-drinks places usually give you 90 or 120 minutes, right? Then you start feeling weirdly rushed. “Hey, order another one quickly!!! We’re out of time!!!” and suddenly you can’t tell whether it’s unlimited drinks or an endurance test hahaha. But there’s no time limit here. You can just drink slowly. Order a drink while talking with friends, order one while eating Kyochon, order another while playing board games~~~~ Nobody kicks you out. I loved that so much, haha.

Hang out for ages with free board games

You can play board games for free, too. If you only keep drinking, eventually you might run out of things to say hahaha, but pull out a board game and the mood comes right back. It’s great for a big group of friends, or for two people just having a casual time. And with no time limit, it’s genuinely great for staying a long time~~~~

There are so many kinds of board games, too!! They even have question cards for couples, so it was really nice for talking while having drinks!

The owner’s experience and the cocktail menu

Introduction to the bartender's career
Cocktails and bartender

I wondered why every cocktail tasted good in its own way, and apparently the owner’s career is no joke???? They ranked No. 1 among Korean bartenders for five consecutive years and have won 10 international competitions!!!! They have also appeared several times on TV shows including SBS’s Master of Living, and are said to currently serve as a judge for bartending competitions.

At first, I assumed a place with unlimited cocktails for ₩19,800 would mainly be about value, obviously hahaha. But it turns out you get to keep choosing cocktails made by someone like this, with no time limit~~~~ As I worked my way through an Adios Motherfucker, Cosmopolitan, Gin and Tonic, and Tequila Sunrise one by one at this price, they suddenly tasted even better hahaha.

Separate restrooms for men and women inside the venue

Restroom inside the venue
Separate men's and women's restrooms

When I go to a drinking place, I quietly care about the restroom situation too. Here, the women’s and men’s restrooms are separate, and both are inside the venue!!!! No need to go outside looking for a shared building restroom or memorize a passcode while drinking, hahaha. Since it’s a new place, even the restrooms were kept really clean. The venue was clean and so were the restrooms, which made me like it even more~~~~ Especially somewhere you drink for a long time, you end up going back and forth to the restroom a lot, right? Hahaha. At B-LAB, with no time limit, having restrooms inside was even more convenient!!!

How to order one cocktail at a time by table QR code

Table QR ordering
Cocktail ordering system

Ordering is super simple, too. Scan the QR code on the table with your phone, and the cocktail menu pops right up. Choose what you want and order—that’s it!!!! You get a notification when it’s ready, then pick it up at the bar, haha.

But unlimited doesn’t mean you can say, “I’ll have this, this, and this too~~~” and stack up several drinks at once hahaha. You order one at a time, and you have to return your finished glass before getting the next cocktail. I actually liked this system because you don’t get greedy just because it’s unlimited, order a bunch of things, and leave them unfinished. Properly drink one → return the empty glass → choose the next thing~~~~ It’s fun checking them off one at a time, hahaha. It also cuts down on wasted alcohol and keeps empty glasses from piling up like a mountain on the table, so this felt much tidier for an unlimited-drinks setup!!!

The seven cocktails we actually drank

Lineup of different cocktails

What we actually drank was Adios Motherfucker, Cosmopolitan, Kahlúa Milk, Gin and Tonic, Tequila Sunrise, Blue Hawaii, and Cassis Frappe. If it hadn’t been unlimited, we never would have ordered that many different kinds hahaha. At a normal cocktail bar, drinks are over ₩10,000 each, so you worry, “What if I don’t like this…” and end up ordering only what you always drink. Here, you can just go, “That name is funny. Let’s order it hahaha,” and do it. If it’s not for you, have the next one!!!! That’s the joy of unlimited drinks~~~~

Adios Motherfucker

The name was so intense that I couldn’t not order it hahaha. The look is vivid, and it definitely tastes boozy—a drink that makes you think, “Yeah, if you came for unlimited drinks, you have to have one of these!!!!” Order it at least once for the name alone, hahaha. I didn’t get a photo, but go and see it for yourself... hehe.

Cosmopolitan

Cosmopolitan cocktail

It’s bright and clean, so I like having one like this in the middle. If you keep drinking only sweet things, it can get a little cloying, but a Cosmopolitan brings you back to life, haha. It went well with Kyochon too.

Kahlúa Milk and Gin and Tonic

What is there even to say about Kahlúa Milk? Sweet, smooth, and it goes down like dessert. It’s the kind of drink even people who don’t like strong alcohol can drink easily. The dangerous part is that it tastes good, so you drink it way too fast hahaha.

After a few sweet cocktails, one Gin and Tonic clears your whole palate!!!! I always need one like this in the middle, hahaha. It goes well with chicken too, and it’s perfect as a warm-up for the next cocktail.

Tequila Sunrise, Blue Hawaii, and Cassis Frappe

First of all, Tequila Sunrise looks so pretty. The color is cocktail perfection itself hahaha. Great for photos, and it was fruity and sweet enough to drink without any pressure.

The second Blue Hawaii hits the table, you instantly get that “I came to a cocktail bar!!!!” feeling hahaha. The color is so pretty that you can’t not take a photo. It also went really well with the lighting in this new venue, so the photos turned out quite nicely, haha.

If you like sweet fruity aromas, I recommend the Cassis Frappe too!!!! Normally I don’t often order something like this because of the price of one drink, but with unlimited drinks, I could just try everything, which was so nice hahaha.

Four drinks each works out to ₩4,950 per cocktail

We drank roughly four cocktails per person. At ₩19,800 each, that’s 19,800 ÷ 4 = ₩4,950. Seriously, where can you get a cocktail for ₩5,000 these days????? And in a brand-new venue with great vibes, no time limit, outside snacks allowed, board games, plus plates and cutlery???? Hahaha. Even at just four drinks, it already felt like we got such a great deal. People who can drink more will bring the per-glass price down even further, hahaha.

Why bringing outside food was especially great

Honestly, I loved this almost as much as the unlimited drinks. At bars, even if you aren’t really craving the food, you often have to order at least one snack, right? Here, you can just bring whatever you want. Want Kyochon? Bring Kyochon. Want pizza? Pizza. Sashimi? Sashimi. Tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes)? Tteokbokki~~~~ You can even have food delivered, so it’s truly free. And there’s no bringing-in fee!!! Plates and cutlery are available!!! I mean, that gives you such huge freedom over snacks hahaha. Next time, I want to take a completely different takeout meal and try it again.

Is it easy even if you don’t know cocktails well?

QR menu ordering

Ordering by QR is convenient too. You can look over the menu slowly before choosing, and it’s great for trying different things even if you don’t know cocktails well. It was nice not having to keep calling the staff over and saying, “This one, please!” haha. Since you drink one and then order the next, it’s not the kind of atmosphere where glasses pile up on the table and you force yourself to drink them. You can genuinely just take your time.

A cocktail bar I want to revisit in Bangi-dong

Cocktail bar recommended for a return visit

I seriously liked this place so much hahaha. Unlimited cocktails for ₩19,800 with no time limit is great already, but it’s new, clean, and hip; there’s no fee for outside food; they provide cutlery and plates; they have Hangang ramyeon; and there are board games~~~~ If you pick up Kyochon and eat it there like we did, it’s honestly so good.

Takeout food and cocktails
Cocktail bar with no time limit

One bite of Kyochon, an Adios Motherfucker, then a Gin and Tonic to clear the palate, Hangang ramyeon in the middle, then back to Blue Hawaii hahaha. This course was seriously perfect.

Ending at a Bangi-dong cocktail bar

If you’re looking for somewhere to hang out with friends for a long time in Bangi-dong, a good-value cocktail bar in Jamsil, lots of cocktails to try, or a place where you can eat exactly the snacks you want~~~~ go here once, haha. Next time, I’m bringing different takeout food again!!!!
