Inside Shabu in Seoul Hapjeong Branch: sofa seats and the dining room

Once you're inside, the restaurant is much bigger than expected! Every seat is a sofa seat, clearly divided from the next table, so eating there was really comfortable haha

The seats for 2–4 people are also pretty spacious, so it was very comfortable to eat! There are also bigger seats for 5–8 people.

At Shabu in Seoul Hapjeong, ordering one set per person gets you a course-like sequence: premium meat — 11 kinds of vegetables — a rice dish — a dessert drink. This premium shabu-shabu dining in Hapjeong lets you enjoy black pork, top-grade wagyu, and even 1++ hanwoo. Lunch and dinner prices differ, and on weekends dinner pricing applies!

There are 5 broths: clear mushroom, spicy mushroom, blue crab miso, sukiyaki, and beef tomato! The rice dish that follows the meat differs by broth, so check that out and pick what you want~

The personal dipping plates, sauce dishes, and utensils all felt very neat and tidy~

The sauces served are yuzu soy sauce, chili, and sesame sauce, and I mixed them into various combinations and tried dipping in all of them haha

I ordered the Prime chuck flat set for two + clear broth! True to the premium shabu-shabu dining vibe, it came out looking very clean and refined.

I always thought shabu-shabu meat was thin, but each slice here was thicker than expected! The vegetables came out generously — napa cabbage, bok choy, shiitake mushrooms, enoki mushrooms, king oyster mushrooms, zucchini, kiri mochi, adorable ⭐panda-shaped funmoja (glass noodle cake), rice paper, and more.

The meat was tender and the vegetables were so varied — a genuinely delicious shabu-shabu meal after a while!! If you boil too much and the broth reduces, refills are available!

I diligently dipped everything into the three sauce combinations I'd pre-mixed haha. The chili + sesame mix was especially delicious!

Finishing the course with egg porridge and omija tea

After finishing the shabu-shabu, request the rice dish via the T-order tablet and a staff member will make it right there for you. I chose clear broth, so I got egg porridge!! Such a delicious way to end the meal.

And finally, omija tea for dessert -! Felt totally pampered, this meal was great.
