Bueokgan is a Western restaurant at 1133 Jeonggwan-ro, 1F Unit 180, Jangan-eup, Gijang-gun, Busan, inside the Gijang Shinsegae Simon Premium Outlets. You can just use the outlet's own parking lot.

I went to the Gijang Shinsegae Outlet for a bit of shopping and an outing, and ended up having a seriously delicious Western-food lunch — let me tell you about it!

Bueokgan has a break time on weekdays but not on weekends — except I visited on a Sunday and there still was a break time, because they'd run out of ingredients!

Is Bueokgan easy to visit with a baby?

The interior of Bueokgan is really spacious with upscale decor, and the wide gaps between tables made eating so comfortable. With all that space, it's also easy to park a stroller — perfect for visiting with a baby!

Places that sell sweet potato fries are pretty rare, so I was happy and ordered it right away!

Comes with pickles and ketchup on the side.

Freshly fried, long sweet potato fries — so good! And the sweet potato itself was such a deep golden yellow, so rich and sweet…

Basil pesto cream pasta, 18,000 won

I was torn between this and carbonara, but when my boyfriend asked 'what's basil pesto?' I ordered it right away and took a bite — I was basically the guy who just tried a banana for the first time lol.

Popped the poached egg and shook it all together.

The rich, thick cream pasta paired with the basil pesto was an amazing combo! Highly recommend the basil pesto pasta!!!!!!

Kung pao chicken pilaf, 22,000 won

I wanted the abalone risotto but it was sold out, so I tried this instead — and honestly it was the best dish for my taste!!!!! Such a great pick

Tore into the whole chicken leg and took a bite — the sauce coating it was so tasty, and the chicken itself was tender and chewy 〰️🫶

Eating it together with the pilaf — oh my gosh~! This is the flavor, this is it!!!!!

Is Bueokgan worth a stop at the Gijang outlet?

A great restaurant to stop by while shopping or out for an outing at the Gijang Shinsegae Outlet in East Busan — the food was super tasty, and both the interior and the food had great quality. Compared to other outlet restaurants, the interior here is spacious and less crowded, making it comfortable for a date or a visit with a baby.
