Jeju family photo studio with self-shooting: Eoeum-ri Photo Studio

We take family photos every year, but this year I wanted to make them a little more special, so we took family snaps during our trip to Jeju! I wanted photos with lots of Jeju feeling in a quiet neighborhood, and I found just the right place and booked it!

What I looked for in a Jeju family snap studio

Even before the trip, I spent a lot of time thinking about which studio to choose for our Jeju family snaps!

• A place where we could shoot in front of a stone wall
• A place where we could shoot privately in a quiet neighborhood
• A place with good value
• A place not too far from our accommodation

Those were my four requirements, and after looking around, Eoeum-ri Photo Studio in Aewol seemed perfect. I booked it as soon as we arrived in Jeju.

Snap and self-shooting booking package

The price for the snap + self-shooting package is really reasonable, right? Since we were taking photos with our child and I thought it might be hard to keep their attention, I booked two snap shots plus 20 minutes of self-shooting. They retouch and print two photos, then send the retouched files separately, so you can get the photos you want at a great value :)

We arrived a little before our reservation time, and the guests from the previous slot were waiting for their retouched photos. It looked like three generations of a family had taken family snaps together. It made me feel we had made a great choice for a Jeju family snap studio 🤭

This stone warehouse is where the self-shooting happens. It was not an ordinary indoor studio, but a stone warehouse full of Jeju character, so it felt wonderfully different. I was so glad we had come to Eoeum-ri Photo Studio :)

There are so many different props in the studio! There were loads of retro-style props, including a bicycle, motorcycle, horse figure, chairs, and more. There was such a variety to use for self-shooting that our child happily brought over one thing after another and had lots of fun taking pictures!

After the snap shoot was over, the photographer mounted our phone on a tripod and gave us a Bluetooth remote, so we could take self-portraits naturally and comfortably.

The weather was so, so beautiful that day, so our Jeju family photos came out well too 👏🏻 We shot when the sun was at its strongest, and I was worried because the glare was intense and the wind was blowing so hard, but once we received the retouched photos, I realized I had worried for nothing!

While the photographer was retouching the photos, the self-portraits we took using Eoeum-ri Photo Studio's props also came out bright and cheerful! When we travel, we tend to take photos mostly of our child, so sometimes I feel sad that we do not have many photos of Mom and Dad. Taking family photos made this trip feel even more special :)
