Jeonju foot bath café for smoother heels: Anma Jogyok Cafe Jeonmang
In short
Anma Jogyok Cafe Jeonmang is a foot bath café in Jeonju Hanok Village, Jeonbuk. After about 14,500 steps, a 30-minute foot soak and shoulder massage made my heavy feet feel lighter and my heels feel smooth. A lovely place to pause after a day of walking.

What comes to mind when you think of Jeonju? Hanok, of course! This time, while walking around Jeonju Hanok Village, my feet got sooo tired... (I had already reached 15,000 steps.) So I stopped by this essential Jeonju Hanok Village course!!
If you come to Jeonju and skip it, you might regret it—Anma Jogyok Cafe Jeonmang (안마족욕카페전망), where I thought, “Wow, this is perfect for a healing activity!!” Here begins my foot bath review💕

Anma Jogyok Cafe Jeonmang front entrance

After walking around Jeonju Hanok Village for about five minutes, I found Anma Jogyok Cafe Jeonmang! It was around 6 p.m. after walking about 14,500 steps that day, and my feet were more tired than I expected.
It was still quite hot in the late afternoon, so finding Anma Jogyok Cafe Jeonmang at just the right moment!

We decided, “Let’s rest here with a foot bath and a cold drink!” And it turned out to be so nice. I’ll tell you exactly why right away:)
Inside the café, enjoying the hanok view

Inside, there are shoe lockers for changing shoes and a changing room where you can change into comfy elastic-waist pants. I loved that it was a place where you could properly enjoy the hanok view.

A hand acupressure tool they give you as soon as you sit down!😆 It felt so refreshing, like my whole body was loosening up.

My friend’s seat was the Pengsoo and Mimi zone!! Each seat had the name of a celebrity who had sat there during a TV appearance hanging above it~
There are three foot bath additives in total, and you choose one!
Main benefits of the three foot bath additives
- Rose: improves memory and relieves stress
- Peppermint: clears the mind and reduces leg swelling
- Lavender: calms the body and mind and eases headaches

They set the hot water to 42°C. Foot bath started—feet in!

You can also choose one drink for free,

I chose burdock tea, which they say is good for dieting,

and my friend chose persimmon-leaf mint tea, which is good for a sore throat. I had already had so many drinks before coming here that, because of bathroom issues, I could only take two sips😭 Thinking about it now, I regret not taking it with me when I left...

My seat was assigned to the Rei and Wonji zone. I sometimes watched the variety show Sixth Sense, so it was fascinating to hear that celebrities had sat there. (I sat where IVE’s Rei sat~~)

30-minute foot bath and shoulder massage
They give you a shoulder massager like this to put on, and then you enjoy a 30-minute shoulder massage plus foot bath.
The view down over Hanok Village was even better than I expected, and the cool breeze coming through the window🍃 was healing itself... I wanted to stay longer😆🫶 (Highly recommended)
Best of all, it was amazing how well it cared for my feet.
Foot care time after the soak
After the foot bath, they give you a towel to wash your feet with!

It looks a little like jokbal (braised pig’s trotters), maybe...? But you wipe them like this.

They even have moisturizing cream for your feet😂 The Gounbal series cream is famous, right?? It felt sooo nice and hydrated when I applied it.
What was really great here was that I normally have a lot of dead skin on my feet~~ But both my friend’s feet and mine became super smooth, and the dead skin on my heels all came off. My feet were reborn soft and fresh😆
Since it was free, I applied lots and lots!! You can see how smooth they got, right??
And after the foot bath, I could really feel all the fatigue leave my feet!! Before it, my feet felt quite heavy, but afterward they felt light as if I had just had a bath—like I was walking for the first time since arriving in Jeonju:)

The restroom is outside the café, but they kindly told us which way to go. (Before visiting, don’t drink lots of beverages like we did—there are plenty of drinks here, so have them here.)

Make sure to take a photo in the full-length mirror—it’s such a perfect spot. My selfie came out really well 😃

I had gotten my hair done not long ago, so it was all shiny and bouncy.
Foot bath done, fatigue recovery done for today!! If you come to Jeonju Hanok Village, how about a foot bath with a massage as a healing activity??
