Just looking at it stirs up your appetite, with the thick tomato-colored sauce dusted with cheese powder and parsley. Bits of tomato and cheese are scattered throughout the sauce, giving it deep flavor.

I twirled the noodles around my fork and took a big bite — the spiciness and savoriness hit a golden ratio, so it wasn't the least bit heavy and just melted into the mouth! Thanks to the slight kick of spice, it never got tiring to eat and quickly became my favorite dish.

Every single grain of rice was soaked through with the savory, deep flavor unique to abalone innards, and I let out a sigh of admiration the moment I took the first spoonful. The innard flavor was intense and bold — the instant I tasted it, I thought 'wow, this is the real deal!' It's genuinely that delicious, so you have to try it.

The white cream sauce served alongside is actually gochu mayo (chili mayo), and adding a little bit really maximizes the smooth savoriness. It can get a touch heavy as you go, but the gochu mayo helps cut through that, and eating it with the pickles served as a side dish also helps. There's no fishy taste to the abalone at all — just savory richness filling your mouth — so I highly recommend ordering this dish!
