After work, my friend and I went to Hongdae looking for dinner, and we ended up at a place famous for having every single menu item taste amazing. The vibe is great and there's so much delicious food that a lot of people wait in line just to get in. My friend and I were both so satisfied with what we ate, so let me introduce you all to Omil, a Hongdae date-spot pasta place, through this post!

We figured we couldn't finish the sides on top of everything else, so we ordered single dishes instead. We got the rubber duck omurice, the spicy pollack roe pasta, and a Pepsi Zero.
The cola came out first. Along with the cola, they thoughtfully gave us an ice cup, and exactly two straws too, haha. Such a nice touch.
Next to the counter, there's a zone where you can grab side dishes yourself, so I brought over some pickles. Pickles go so well with pasta!

The dishes we ordered came out right away, so we didn't have to wait long, which was great. Even though the place was completely packed, the food came out really quickly. Doesn't the spicy pollack roe pasta look so good? It had plenty of garlic in it too, which Koreans love, and the portion was just right for two people!

Ta-da! With the rubber duck omurice, I thought 'it's so cute, how am I supposed to eat this?' but it's just so delicious. The quail egg on top was so tasty too — pure protein boost! The sauce and rice went so well together that I thought, if I ever want omurice, this is the place to come!
