Let me introduce a Goyang·Ilsan café with an exotic, garden-filled vibe. I've already visited this well-known café in Wondang, Baedagol Bakery House, a couple of times. The weather was great, so I brought my parents along. It was my first time sitting on the outdoor seats, and it was such a healing time!
Where is Baedagol Bakery House, and where do you park?
Baedagol Bakery House is a large garden bakery café located at 123 Hoguk-ro 1121beon-gil, Wondang, Deokyang-gu, Goyang, Gyeonggi, South Korea. It's more convenient to visit by car, but it's still a well-known large café in Goyang·Ilsan that draws a lot of visitors.

This time I noticed they've expanded to a third parking lot! You can tell how many customers they get, haha.

Unless you're basically doing an opening run, the lot right in front of the café is often full. Lots 2 and 3 are directly across from the café, so you just have to cross the road!

Right from the entrance you're greeted by trees, lush leaves, and a parade of flowers that puts you in a good mood. Shall we go in?
A large garden café in Goyang and Ilsan
Baedagol Bakery House keeps its garden beautifully maintained, which makes it a spot women especially love. With so many hydrangeas around, it almost feels like you've stepped into a botanical garden. Each pot even has the flower or tree's name labeled, adding to the fun of looking around.

It's a kids-care zone, so children are welcome, but pets are not allowed.
- Café hours: 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- Last order: 8:30 PM
Since it opens fairly early, even though we visited around an early lunch hour, the place was packed. It's also great for enjoying bread and brunch. Keep the last order time in mind when planning your visit, haha.
Inside Baedagol Bakery House
The interior of this Ilsan café, Baedagol Bakery House, has that pretty, aesthetic café feel too. I usually sit inside, but the weather was so nice this time that I bravely (?) went outside to grab a seat, haha.

You order bread and coffee at the counter.
The bread counter: what Baedagol bakes

The bread isn't sitting out in the open — it's kept behind a modern (?) automatic display case that opens when you press a button, which is nice for hygiene.

One tasty thing next to another tasty thing... I picked out ones to suit our taste, and the only regret was already being full from lunch 🥹

I picked out something to go with the coffee based on my parents' taste.

- Café Latte / Cappuccino ₩6,500
- Café Mocha / Caramel Macchiato / Vanilla Latte ₩7,500

The drink prices are a bit on the higher side, but for the kind of facilities and atmosphere you get to enjoy, it feels worth it, haha.

What the outdoor terrace garden seats are like
While wandering around the outdoor terrace garden at Baedagol Bakery House, we found a pretty spot to sit ♥︎ It felt like we'd traveled far out into the countryside... and that's exactly what made it so nice 🍃 Still, it's fairly close to Wondang Station, making Baedagol Bakery House a great value Goyang·Ilsan café.

The red bean bread my dad picked was delicious too, made even more special with chestnut topping in the middle. And the tiramisu — this place is truly a top spot for it! Even though we were full, it still went down smoothly with the coffee.

This is a place I confidently recommend as an Ilsan café with a very high chance of success when bringing your parents along. Customers here range widely in age, and it's easy to see why — no matter who you bring, it's a place with good coffee and good bread that's easy to love.
The 20% Nara Sarang discount at Baedagol Bakery House
There's also a national-service appreciation discount event to help you enjoy Baedagol Bakery Café even more. Career soldiers, active service members, firefighters, police officers, and sanitation workers — both current and former — all get a 20% discount. You just need to show an ID or related document. (*Active soldiers only are eligible.) It applies to your companions too, which makes it an even better deal, haha.
50% off all bread every day after 7 PM
Even if you don't qualify for the above, all bread is 50% off every day after 7 PM, haha.

That's my honest review of Baedagol Bakery House, the Ilsan café with the pretty garden. As a consistently popular café, it's well maintained, the coffee is good, and the bread is excellent too ♥︎ If you're looking for a nice-atmosphere café or brunch spot bakery café in the Goyang·Ilsan area, definitely give it a visit, haha.
