What's your favorite food? I've had a hard time answering that question since I was a kid. I love sushi, I love fried chicken, I love burgers... picking just one is tough haha 🙄
Maybe because I'm a total foodie, my favorite food has kept shifting with the "eras" of my life haha. These days it's definitely pizza. I love American-style pizza too, but my true favorite is Italian pizza 🍕 Today I'm introducing an amazing pizza spot I found in Sangam-dong, DMC, Seoul — Pizzeria Snug 💛💛
Where is Pizzeria Snug, and is there parking near DMC Station?
Pizzeria Snug sits on a quiet lane in Sangam DMC, Seoul! Its red, hip exterior stands out even from a distance 🙄
Pizzeria Snug is within walking distance of DMC Station, which is served by Line 6, the Airport Railroad, and the Gyeongui-Jungang Line — so accessibility is really good. Parking is also possible: you can park for 1 hour free in the building's mechanical parking lot. But since it's mechanical, SUVs have a hard time parking there ㅠㅠ
They say "Snug" means "cozy and comfortable," and "a small but warm space." It really shows the owner's philosophy of creating more than just a place to eat delicious food — a space where you can comfortably rest with family, partners, coworkers, or friends haha.

With the nice weather lately, they've set up tables for a half-outdoor terrace setup too. There were actually people eating outside haha!

I really like it when there's a menu posted outside so I can think about what to order in advance, and sure enough, there was one right outside haha.

What does Pizzeria Snug's APN Napoletana certification mean?
I spotted "APN NAPOLETANA" 🍕✨ at Pizzeria Snug. If you see this mark, it means it's certified as authentic Neapolitan pizza! APN is known as an organization that upholds and promotes the craft and tradition of Naples pizza artisans. It signifies a place that makes pizza the traditional way, following strict standards. Turns out this isn't just tasty pizza — it carries the tradition of Neapolitan pizza too 🍕

Inside Pizzeria Snug: seating and the self-serve bar
Pizzeria Snug's interior is decorated in bright, colorful tones. It's an authentic Italian pizzeria, but the decor gives off a bit of an American vibe hahaha.

The inside is arranged mostly with 4-person tables. It's not a huge space, but nicely put together in a cute way!

Pizzeria Snug uses the top-grade flour from Italy's Caputo, hand-kneading it daily. Through optimal aging and fermentation, the dough turns out wonderfully chewy. That's probably why the flour bags and certificate-like items were hung on the wall haha.

There's a small self-serve bar where you can help yourself to extra lemon water, chili flakes, olive oil, and pickles!
I made a phone reservation that day, and when I arrived on time, the tableware was already set up haha.
Even the tissues and wet wipes were Snug-branded. That all costs money, you know — such a dedicated owner's philosophy toward the concept!
A tablet inside the menu: how ordering works at Pizzeria Snug

This is the menu — and when you open it, there's a tablet tucked inside hahaha. It's a system where you can order right away!

After some deliberation, I decided on two pizzas hahaha.
Snug Classica: burrata, jambon and arugula

First up came the Snug Classica. It's a pizza with a generous layer of basil sauce over tomato sauce, then piled high with arugula and jambon!

On top of that, a huge pile of burrata cheese, so I cut right into it without mercy hahaha. Let's mash it up fine hahaha.
Wow!!!!! This is seriously insane ㅠㅠㅠㅠ First the tangy-sweet flavor of the tomato spreads through my mouth, then the arugula and basil sauce burst through right after. I don't know what ingredients the owner uses, but you can really taste the phrase "fresh" in every single ingredient's distinct flavor haha.

Mixed mushroom pizza (M.B.P): six mushrooms and truffle aroma
Next is the mixed mushroom pizza (M.B.P). I'm not totally sure what M.B.P stands for... Mixed? Baby? Pizza...? Or sorry, maybe just my limited English ㅠ

The mixed mushroom pizza is generously loaded with six kinds of mushrooms. What stood out most was the truffle aroma. I genuinely love truffle...! The truffle scent filling my mouth made for such a happy meal haha 💛
Caputo dough texture and the table sauces
Pizzeria Snug's dough overall wasn't the super fluffy type — it had a bit more bite and chewiness!

Ranch, salsa, and olive oil are provided as house sauces, and since the dough itself is so tasty, dipping it in the sauces was a lot of fun too 💛💛
Is Pizzeria Snug worth it for pizza in Sangam DMC?
Today I visited Pizzeria Snug, tucked away on a quiet lane in Sangam DMC, Seoul 🍕 True to the name "Snug," it was a small but cozy and comfortable space haha. With the APN NAPOLETANA certification mark, my expectations rose right from the entrance since I love authentic Neapolitan pizza hahaha.
That day I ordered two pizzas — the Snug Classica and the mixed mushroom pizza! The Snug Classica had basil sauce and arugula and jambon piled generously over tomato sauce, topped with a huge amount of burrata cheese. From the tangy-sweet tomato to the arugula and basil aroma bursting through in sequence, each ingredient's flavor came through distinctly, and personally I really enjoyed it haha.
And since I love truffle so much, the moment the truffle aroma from the six-mushroom pizza filled my mouth was pure happiness hahaha. The dough wasn't the super fluffy type either, but had a bit of bite and chewiness, so there was fun in enjoying the dough itself, not just the toppings! With ranch, salsa, and olive oil ready as house sauces, dipping the leftover dough in them was also delicious 💛
If you want to enjoy proper Italian pizza in a great atmosphere in Sangam DMC, Pizzeria Snug is worth a visit! I was especially impressed by the fresh ingredients, the chewy dough, and the rich truffle aroma haha.
