Hi, this is Suni. After a picnic by the Han River near Dongjak Station, I stopped by Baekho Yangdaechang, famous among Isu locals as an Isu go-to restaurant! I heard this place is even well known as a favorite for Yeongdeungpo-gu office dinners.

What the restaurant looks like from the street
It's a short walk from Isu Station Exit 11, tucked inside the food alley, so it was easy to find! The exterior stood out with a clean sign and bright lighting.
The signature menu items and business hours are posted outside too! I visited around 6:30pm on a Sunday, and true to its reputation as an Isu Station favorite, there were quite a lot of people.

There were so many options I hesitated, but since it was my first visit I started with a set-style order and added more later.

Inside the restaurant and the group seating
The interior had a retro vibe while still feeling clean and tidy.
The seats are spaced generously, so it seems great for group gatherings too! In fact, there were group parties there when we visited.
They even provide aprons, and there's a 2+1 highball promotion! Perfect for anyone who loves a good drink.
Is there a wait, and can you reserve?
Just a heads up — if there's a wait, there's a 2-hour time limit! Looking at reviews, this place is known as a gopchang (beef intestine) favorite in Isu, so waits do happen often. When we visited (Sunday evening around 6:30pm), there was no wait. Naver reservations are also available!
Side dishes and dipping sauces
The side dishes came out neatly arranged. I ended up eating that whole bowl of cucumber-peppers by myself... so good.
The dipping sauce for the meat wasn't harsh at all — it had a deep, savory flavor that worked really well!

✔️Mixed platter (₩19,900 × 2 servings) — this dish lets you try various parts like gopchang, daechang, makchang, and heart all at once. It's pre-grilled over charcoal and finished by staff, so it was clean with no gamey smell at all!
Each part had a different texture and flavor, so it was fun picking through them all!
It's so, so good.. seriously the perfect drinking snack.
The chadolbagi (thinly sliced beef brisket) was yummy too.
After eating this, it was so good I had to go for a somaek. Offal + somaek = paradise.

It looked so good I dove right in before taking a proper photo.. the bibim naengmyeon.
✔️Bibim naengmyeon (₩7,900) — Baekho Yangdaechang's bibim naengmyeon (spicy mixed cold noodles) leans toward the brothy-mixed style, and it's really good — generous portion too. The spicy-sweet sauce and chewy noodles cut through the greasiness perfectly. It was the ideal palate cleanser after all that meat!
Adding the daechang grill: fat-filled, juicy bites
✔️Daechang grill (₩15,900 × 2 servings) — we liked the daechang (beef large intestine) so much we ordered more! The daechang's flavor combined with the charcoal smokiness turned out nutty and tender, and wow.. it was just so good. It was packed with fat inside, so every bite burst with savory juices — the soju just kept flowing!
Final verdict on Baekho Yangdaechang
Baekho Yangdaechang was such a satisfying visit — the taste, the atmosphere, and the fact that they grill the meat for you, all great❤️ For first-timers, I'd recommend starting with the mixed platter like we did, then adding more of whatever you liked best. The daechang grill was seriously so good that I want to go back just for that! Goes perfectly with somaek!
Overall the prices were reasonable and corkage is free, so it feels like a great spot for office dinners or gatherings with friends. If you're looking for an Isu Station meat restaurant or a gopchang spot in Isu, why not give Baekho Yangdaechang a try?
