Gangnam café dinner with galette and cream pasta: Le Bon Goûter

After work yesterday, I wanted an atmospheric meal around Apgujeong Rodeo, so I visited Le Bon Goûter (르봉구떼) 🥰 It is not far from Apgujeong Rodeo Station, and its European feel makes it nice for a date or a light brunch meal too :)

Le Bon Goûter is a ground-floor shop tucked into an alley, so it was not difficult to spot as I walked by. From the moment I saw it, its atmosphere made me feel as though I had arrived in Europe 🥰

The terrace was especially atmospheric too, so it would be lovely to eat outside on a nice day 👏🏻 But I chose to sit indoors :) The interior was prettier, haha.

A cozy interior with a European feel

Once I stepped inside, I loved how strongly the European atmosphere came through 🫶🏻 The whole space felt cozy yet stylish, and it was the kind of place that put me in a good mood while I ate 👏🏻

On one side, bottled water and napkins were set out nicely for self-service :) I liked that it felt as though they had paid attention even to these small details, haha.

Each table had a small lamp and mini flower vase, along with charming little decorative pieces, making the table setting look even lovelier 🥰 I really liked these tiny details too 🫶🏻

The forks and knives were set out neatly and beautifully, so I was already in a good mood before the meal even began 🥰

Jambon cheese galette and shrimp mushroom cream pasta

First, the jambon cheese galette was a crisp galette (French buckwheat crêpe) paired with jambon ham and cheese, with a nutty, pleasantly salty flavor 🥰

The galette's distinctive mild flavor went so well with the jambon and cheese, making it easy to eat without feeling heavy 👍🏻 Next up was the shrimp mushroom cream pasta!

The shrimp and mushrooms came together in the cream sauce, and I really loved its rich, nutty flavor! 👍🏻

If you like cream pasta, this is an easy, reliably delicious choice! 🫶🏻

True to its name, the shrimp mushroom cream pasta came with both shrimp and mushrooms. Eating them together with the cream sauce was such a great combination—it was really delicious 🫶🏻

I also had an iced Americano with the meal, and it was refreshing alongside the food. An iced Americano really is love ❤️

Overall, Le Bon Goûter felt like a great place to visit when you want an atmospheric meal around Apgujeong Rodeo 🥰 It is nice for ordering and sharing different dishes such as galette and pasta, and its relaxed atmosphere works for everything from a meal with friends to a date :)

Since it is within walking distance of Apgujeong Rodeo Station, it would also be easy to plan a walk around the area or a café visit after your meal! If you want to try something a little different around Apgujeong or are looking for an atmospheric restaurant, I think Le Bon Goûter is worth a visit ❤️
